#2 would require a change in the BCM programing or custom wiring. #3 are you asking to see the actual gear it's in? If so you need something like Banks iDash or Edge CTS to see that.

That’s absolutely insane. My 2012 and 2018 vehicles allowed me to see my current gear and set my fog lights to default on.

The gear indicates only while in manual mode meaning you can hit the L, for low gear, on the steering and this will display your current selected gear which you can then adjust up or down with the + or - paddles on the backside of the steering wheel. This can also be used to lockout gear hunting by the transmission especially while towing if you’re not in tow hall mode.

Pretty crazy none of these things can be adjusted.
