All right guys and gals. I’m trying to find a nice set of aftermarket LED head and tail lights for the Tahoe. For the headlights I am leaning towards this style from Akkon or similar C-bar. if anyone would like to share what they have or like, please do. there’s so many choices out there. I want something that will last and for the headlights I am hoping to be able to do a retrofit with a set of H1 projectors I have. Maybe I should just build a set of stock style with projectors and color match the inside like I did on my Silverado.

So we leave for our annual Gulf Coast trip friday...driving thru whats looking for gnarly storms BUT..
Sunday I gave it a good cleaning, inside, outside and put a new ceramic coat on it....cleans up really good for an 11 year old brown truck. Its dirty again, more tornadoes today and had to drive thru the rain but nothing sticks to it.

When i went to the wrecking yard and got my replacement rear bumper, I found this in a different yukon. Ask the guy how much and he said the airbag is blown so you can have it.
Don't know if it works or not but for the price i could not say no!

That's what came in my 2014. Isn't that the regular wheel they put in all the Tahoes and Yukons?

If I could go back and buy these again I would have gotten the black turn reflectors instead of the chrome ones. Other than that I love these things.

I did custom wire mine to delete the DRLS and power the C bars on demand only.

They have a nice cut off pattern. However the bulb needs to be oriented in the right way. I replaced a bulb and it threw the beam way off. I had to rotate it 90 degrees and it was where it should be. Just a heads up.

No heated wheels past a certain year I thought... Or maybe none before a certain year?
When I look on rockauto, it seems like heated wheels are available for '12+ trucks, not showing them for earlier models..

I have not ordered the clock spring yet. I want to check the airbag plugs on mine and see if i can match them. If not, ill need to re-pin them.

Doubt it if the wire/connection breaks inside.. Which is probably where it always breaks..
I bought a complete column, and I'm going to swap the steering wheel with clockspring. The steering wheel spun completely around when I was putting it away in my garage, so I was wondering if I ruined it.

Got my new (used) bumper cover on and it sure looks so much better!

Also, yesterday got new tires, BFG Trail Terrain T/A 275/65/18.
I'm also done messing with the suspension, so had it realigned. Tow was a little off but good now.
From center of wheel to top of wheel well in front it measures 23 1/4 and rear measures 24 7/16. Ended up with a 2 1/2 in spacer on the rear springs and 2 1/2 lower strut spacer on the front. After making about 6 different sets of rods, I finally had that right and an ALC reset.
With the new shock's, strut's and suspension components, Cracker now rides and drives amazing!! Now for the transmission.
