2013 Yukon Denali AWD Need help with Adjustable Air Ride Suspension to clear 30” Wheels…

Need some help with finding some adjustable air ride to clear 275/30/R30… I currently have a leveling kit (cheap ass spacer on the front) and the ride is horrible also have positive camber wearing the hell out of the tires… I found some air bag struts from Ridetech but before I order them has anyone have experience with this product and I’m curious if I would be able to lift a few inches over factory ride height with the bags inflated… If not I was thinking about cutting the difference needed out of aluminum making a spacer to lift the mounting point from the top of the bottom half of the strut just enough to get an extra few inches of lift without having the bag fully inflated for a comfortable ride height… Trying to get some input today on Sunday and will be calling ridetech when they open tomorrow…

When you raise it, you need to get it aligned. Otherwise, as you have found out, you will eat tires fast.
When you raise it, you need to make the ride height sensor rods longer, front 2 for sure. Rear depends.
You should have marked the sensors before you raised it so you can put them back to their original position with the longer rods.
I don't believe using airbags in the back to get a few more inches will give you the ride you're looking for. I would use a spacer on the rear spring of the desired thickness.
To get the original ride it is the springs that are holding the weight of the vehicle and the airbags have just enough air in them to be inflated and keep the bags from rubbing against itself.
After you get it all where you want it find someone that can do an ALC reset.
I have found as the sensor arms move down the ride gets stiffer and as you move them up the ride gets softer.
This all assumes you have Z55 or Z95 with auto level.
I just went through this over the last 2 months to lift mine a little and get a good ride.

Thanks for sharing… I ended up just deleting the factory air ride setup… I don’t think there’s any camber adjustment available with the 3” spacer added… I think I would need a camber kit but after I felt how bad the ride was with the spacer I decided to hold off on the camber kit and look into doing a air bag strut… Ridetech is the only company that offers those struts for the NNBS and from what I’ve read on their site it’s going to be 2” lower than factory height off the rip… So I’m thinking that I could make my own spacer that I could adapt to the bottom piston to whatever thickness needed to allow the bag to inflate at a comfortable ride without having to fully inflate… Basically my goal is to make my ride height just above the tires… I used to have a 07 xl on these wheels but in 28’s and it was perfect height and ride without needing to do anything but I just had to go with 30’s SMH and it’s been a damn nightmare ever since lol…

Lift spacers have zero effect on ride quality. Ride tech struts are going to ride like dog doodoo with them overinflated to get the lift you want

The ride quality is 100% in the tires, not the suspension

I disagree with that.
If he raises it with airbags, it will be stiff. I did try that. The weight of the vehicle needs held up by the springs.
If he wants the rear 2in higher he needs 2in blocks in the rear.
If longer rods have not been installed it will ride like a brick.
Larger tires with no sidewall will also ride like shi* but the ride can be softened with longer rods on the front.

You could also step down a few shoe sizes and it won’t be so rough on the ride, the suspension, the dash, the motor mounts….etc. The comfort of the ride isn’t meant for big wheels and little tires. They make look purdy, but they cost more in damaged parts that need replaced or retrofitting.
