that would be like me asking you what color shoes am I wearing?
sneakers isn't a colorSneakers.

im not using any interface for the steering wheel controls. But I was think about it. there was this harness kit for like 90 bucks on amazon.Title says ‘ new ‘ aftermarket radio. So, new as in, just installed and you can’t get it to work or, was it working before and then stopped working ?
Did the truck have Bose sound system originally?
You'll need it for the controls to work. Did you get the GM chime box for the new radio?im not using any interface for the steering wheel controls. But I was think about it. there was this harness kit for like 90 bucks on amazon.
this might be a dumb question but you said you were able to retain yours. And i was just wondering if you plugged in your amplifer turn on wire because I wasnt able to find one that was communicating with that wire.I was able to retain the bose amp and sub when I installed my aftermarket HU, double check your wiring and make sure everything is color matched. The first thing to check is your +/- for each speaker and go from there.
That might be your issue. I'd think your amp is getting the signal to turn on--thus no sound.this might be a dumb question but you said you were able to retain yours. ^^ This is the module that I installed, and that is how I retained the factory amp + chime module. PAC RP5 GM11I'm certainly no expert on the wiring or interfaces, but if your radio uses the standard wire color codes there apparently should be a Blue/White wire to use to turn on the amp. Does your radio manufacturer include any instructions for installation?
Here's one interface that might be compatible.
