Looks great, this is what i have been trying to research for the last couple weeks. I have tow hooks, fogs and new trim piece ready to go, but wanted to get this figured out so i can do it all at once.

So you said you drilled your truck frame to install this? Do you have any more pictures of the hitch after it was cut and installed? or any more from the underside?

thank you,

I think 15-20 are the same and the curt and the draw tie 65064 sit too low but “ No drilling “ .. on my 2015 first pull the splash shied so you can work under there. I finally realized for the hitch to Mach up almost Level. There at “ Frame shoes that are in the way first I cut them 1/2 way off and mounted the Square tube directly to frame by drilling 7/8 holes in top side of the square cross tube bolted up and it was too low for hitch to come out straight and too far back for standard hitch insert.. removed hitch Cut Off the frame shoe complese ( the round front is not welded so start there and cut under round part . Now drill new 7/8 or 1 inch holes in frame about 3-1/2 forward and bolt it up seems like frame angles down so it came out acceptably level

Ok 1st drill & cut 2 inch square hole on center of plastic grill
Next cut off the shoe… now bolt up only the Square cross tube with hitch receiver.
I found the 65064 new but in damaged box for 90$
Cross tube should be about 34 in I cut and chopped the 65064 and drilled a 7/8 hole at 32 1/2… Let me know how yours turns out

Looks good to me I have 5-6 different hitch inserts for various reasons . Did a little tweaking to rear hitch also

Well you defeated the purpose of the decorative hitch cover, hah! Anyways I see it has a grille to it too - do you have a backup beeper mounted behind there?

No there’s a Marine spreader light that just fit and for the hitch cover with no hitch I use the little Bash plate

thanks for the reply, I think I see where you went with this. I assume you have to get on the ground to pull the pin and change your attachments.
