Been driving my 99 Tahoe for about 10 years now and am needing to replace/service the front end. I'm unable to find any lower control arms. Anyone have any leads? All i can find are for the RWD. Needing the 4x4 for the front end torsion bar.

Thanks

Going thru the same thing. I was advised to see if I can get away with changing the bushings and ball joints. Still working to see if that was good advice or not...

Here’s a discussion on it.

Cliff’s Notes version: the stock LCA is not available as an aftermarket part. Junkyard, eBay, etc. But the LCA on 4x4 Chevrolet Astro vans can be made to work if bushing replacement is not feasible.

Had to reuse lower A arm. New ball joints and bushings from RockAuto.Com. Feels great.
Went basically the same route with mine. Drives like new.

Good morning, I am also having this problem. I bought new bushings but they are loose. Parts store Guy said could be bad housing on the LCA. Can't find a replacement other than junkyard. Does the astro van have the same setup? I appreciate your time . No one I've talked to has an answer.

Looks like new! Awesome.

Wished I had access to this site when I was going through it all. I don’t like people touching my truck so I only paid someone to press out the old bushings and press in new ones (plus align). I only wanted to do it once so basically everything was replaced or refurbed.

Needing to do a suspension rebuild or replace on my own 99 Tahoe LS 4X4. Are there currently any kits out there that I can purchase to change out all of the old original parts? Thanks
