Rhythmic sound when braking

I have a 01 Tahoe 4x4. When braking, I can hear a rhythmic (wub..wub..wub…) sound between 20-0mph from the front left. The sound gets slower and longer the more I decel. Does not make sound when coasting to a stop. Also does not make sound when braking in reverse. Has new wheel hub bearing and knuckle assy, new pads and rotors. New tires. New shocks. The sound started after the tran and t-case were rebuilt.
Any ideas?

my first guess is warped rotor, not entirely uncommon
if you do stuff yourself you could have both rotors turned for about $15 each
then break them in properly

Welcome to the forum and my money is on the warped rotor, even if is knew-especially if generic stuff, that @Doubeleive said. The other possibility is the caliper mount and any related hardware.

if it is not the brakes and if work was done to the drivetrain it's possible it could just be noisy, it happens and there really is no fix.
usually though that kind of noise is only present when 4wd is engaged, some front diff's are just flat out noisy, my 00 was slightly noisy not engaged but if you put it in 4wd you could really hear it others have reported the same before. the only thing you can do is check that the diff lube is full, unscrew the filler cap and on a level surface stick your finger in and feel, if it is properly full a little may spill out when you take the cap off if that happens just put the cap back on right away.
but your description sure sounds like rotors it's easy to warp them depending on the quality of the rotors and pads and how you drive.

I know warped rotors on the front can be felt in the brake pedal. I had a similar noise that turned out to be the self adjusting rear parking brake on one side. Could be just a coincidence it started right after the work you had done. Sound travels, are you sure it's coming from the front?

check the dust shields not touching the rotor. calipers do fail too. i had to change the fronts on my 05, same deal could hear em when was light on the brakes. one caliper was not backing off. the rubber brake lines can also fail, the inside falls apart and lets fluid in but not back out.

You can probably rule out warpage then. How old are they? I just changed the rotors on a family member's vehicle and found rust spots on them. They were actually eaten away in a few spots and that caused noise. Also, a build up of brake dust can be an issue. I'd do a full inspection. If you can raise all 4 wheels off the ground and block it securely start it and put it in 4WD then have a helper press the brake pedal. You by the wheel may be able to isolate the noise.

I had already replaced rotors and pads, still makes same noise

You might want to consider putting it in the air so you can run it in 4wd and listen as all wheels spin. Then lighty use the brakes ans see if you can replicate it with a helper and try to pinpoint the issue
