Replacement Seat Foam?

Hi all. I'm finally breaking down and getting new front seat covers for my 2002 Yukon Denali. The passenger seat cushion is in decent shape, but the drivers is pretty flat. I've tried to find replacement foam with no luck. I believe the GM part number is 88939304, but it was discontinued a long time ago. It seems like the aftermarket has newer models 2003 and up. Does anyone know if these can be made to work or any other ideas? I've seen videos about steaming the foam to restore, but I'm skeptical. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah…I purchased the covers from the seat shop. They don’t sell the replacement foam for a 02’ Denali.

They sure don't list a seat foam cushion for the '02.

I would give them a call I bought 02 Yukon drivers bottom foam 4 years ago. I don't remember if it was on web site or not.

Hard to believe on one sells this for a 02’. I guess I’ll have to patch the old one together.

How bad is the pad? Is it breaking apart or just saggy. If the latter, just take it out, steam the whole pad and let it dry completely. It will bring it right back to life.

If you have any foam around you can steam what you have and use some 3m spray adhesive and cut and mold the replacement to shape. Or take some from the bottom, if it’s just a small piece.
