Turned out much better than the last one, started at the top spraying back and forth pointing down a little only dropping a little after 2 passes. So each spot got sprayed several times as I worked down.Went much slower to the point off it almost wanting to run.

Only 1 side left.:chewie:

Boy the metallics really pile up if you spray to close. You get this blotch of purple sparkle and you think you just messed it up. As it dries the sparkle goes away and the grey colour come through matching pretty good.

2 coats. This is water base stuff so drys pretty quick with air flow so I have my furnace running blowing dog hair around lol.

Bit of a snow storm today and for the next two weeks also cold so decided to just put it back together so I can drive it.

Plan is to maybe turn this into a work truck. I’m a kitchen guy so need to fit table saw mitre saw etc. probably make a plywood box to cover the interior. Will see.

At least I can drive it now. Will work on the cut and buff next weekend. Truck needs to go outside again.

I use to work up north,-30c was a warm day.Diesel trucks just idled all night.Nothing was turned off and if it did was only for an hour. You push the clutch in at -40c it just stays on the floor lol.
I have experienced that. I have done a few trips to Ft McMurray to the Oil sands.

Working on the last panel. Yay!! Sure enough I found a dog hair. Probably in the paint or the first coat of clear. I’m sanding over it and it’s not changing so I know my clear is at least one dog hair thick haha.

Got the Yuk back in the garage. Weather is much nicer but the roads now are a mess. Gravel, salt, sand everywhere.

Local store had 24x24 mud flaps chunks. I cut one in half sandwiched it between the inner fender cover. Temporary have it on to see if I like it. Will have to make a big washer as the rubber isn’t that thick. Not the nicest but will stop all the crap on the roads
