3/21 build date here. Latest update from dealer this morning was that I’m still waiting on a chip. September to December delivery window is most likely.

Probably going to bail at this point. I know it doesn’t matter to GM, but I have had enough of this ********. This was going to be my first GM product and it’s definitely going to be my last if I even buy it.

I ordered in January, order accepted 4/28, TPW 5/16, built and moved to Midlothian 5/21. Haven’t heard shit and dealer only gives me “we will let you know when it’s in transit”. After reading all these horror stories, and becoming one myself, I’m not sure I want a ‘22 this late in the year. This is also my first GM. At this point my dealer would probably love for me to bail so they can sell for $10-$15k over sticker and keep my deposit….we are in a lose lose pretty much

Given the circumstances you may be able to fight for your deposit back. Check with your dealer…

Most dealers give it back knowing they will sell the vehicle.

Just got the dreaded message from my dealer. Mine is delayed until November/December along with 4000 others. Was built last week of March and shipped to Midlothian first week of April. SLT, 3.0, max towing

New to the chat here, but have been following. I have a 2022 Z71 Tahoe that was built on 4/13 that has been there ever since. I contacted the executive resolution team and they said that it was escalated to their logistics team for consideration and a request was submitted to expedite it to the dealer. I do not have a window sticker yet based on the link provided previously in the chat. I will add that I have also been told that it is in QC by Chevy chat.

Have you seen any movement on your tahoe?
Mines been in mid lot since 04/10 with no explanation. Today the dealer called and said it's in Qc.

I ordered a basic ass LT yet my dealer has gotten like 14 Z71’s in the past month all produced well after mine. How can they have chips for a Z71, a much more sophisticated package, but not a LT? That’s why the chips excuse makes no sense to me.

Probably bc they make more money on the higher trims

I dont think so: Mines a pretty loaded denali and it didnt move since march.

Most likely explanation: they dont give a crap about customers. It must be a few bucks cheaper per unit to keep the factory running without planning too much. They ship whatever is finished through luck: screw the order seniority. Bonus for them: sone customers with a protected price give up.

Dont worry, they will care again next time they need a bailout.

Not sure what you mean… these are built trucks on this thread, way past allocation concerns.

All this talk about end of year before we get our cars is driving me insane. Can't believe the BS we all have to go through to get zero answers..

GM better have a great explanation or at least 10 K off MSRP sale for remaining ‘22 model year trucks this fall.

Cars in Midlothian have all been already produced. That's what this thread is about. I'm wondering how long it took for the cars that passed through Midlothian this year to be delivered from the build date, the ones who actually got their car and aren't still waiting. Can anyone chime in?
