I can't find the post but wanted to follow up- Here are the after photos of the 2022 Tahoe Z71 with 285/60R20's NITTO Recon grappler's installed.

No rub, no problem at all. Looks much more aggressive than the Goodyears that were on it. No road noise from what I can tell either.

Looks great! I’ve ran several sets of duratracs in the past (they get loud) but put a set of nitto ridge grapplers on our Yukon and they are great so far. Very quiet and smooth for how aggressive they are

I bought mine in February 2022 and it came level.
It might be “level” but no GM SUV discussed here, absent air-ride, comes with a lift or level or anything different than the others. GM does not apply the sierra/Silverado AT4/trail boss formula it uses on the trucks….to the SUV’s.

It sits and rides 100% level. After purchasing I measured the ride height, front and back- It does not have the "air ride" system but does have "Premium Smooth Ride suspension uses a conventional Coil Spring suspension in the front axle, while the rear axle uses a self-contained, self-leveling Nivomat shock."
So, it sits level, however it is "STOCK".

Well u got a good one then. Looks sharp. Most all show slight rake in the front of less than 2 inches no matter how equipped. This is for hauling and headlight reasons.

I made the change from a 6” lifted 2021 titan pro4x. This has been a great transition- I couldn’t be happier.

From the 2022 Z71’s I looked at, I didn’t notice a rake at all.

They’ve made the rake pretty minimal on these new suvs but it’s there on most of them. Our Yukon xl was 1.25” higher in the rear from the factory with premium smooth ride suspension. The nivomat shocks are not meant to be a leveling kit per say (that nearly always involves a spacer in the front to bring it up to match the rear) but they supposedly level the rig when you have something heavy in the back.

Yup. Mechanically “level” after driving.

@sanman28 just like @CBDFW1984 my 2022 Tahoe Z71 is also level. So is my wife's 2022 Suburban Z71... from the factory.

Yes, these newer rigs are much more level from the factory that the past models. Especially with air ride.

I put a 1.5” level on my wifes tahoe high country (no air ride) because it did have a bit of visible rake. Much better now IMO.

Looks great!!
Im about to do same thing to my wifes 23 z71. Only maybe ridge grapplers. The factory tires wore the sides out of them I am not too thrilled with them so I need to change them anyways

Did you look into the ridge grapplers? If so, is there something that made you want the recons as opposed to them?

I came to this forum to look at these tires as I am upgrading my wife’s tires. Noticed your temp plates. I also bought our z71 from Jerry Durant lol small world…we’re in canyon creek.

You didn’t lift or level to make these fit? No rubbing on turns or bumps? Looks great. We have the champagne colored Tahoe

I’m curious to know if they run as well. I went with the same size BFG AT KO2’s and without the Westcott fender liner pull back kit, they definitely would have rubbed at full lock.
