So I spoke to RC Tech because their site says the 2" lift doesn't fit the 2021 Z71. He said it will fit but it's not recommended because the Z71 is already lifted and it will raise it too much without other changes which could damage the drive train.
I think their just trying to not have any issues with consumers who didn't realize the Z71 is already high. I would really like to see a Tahoe Z71 with the 2" lift because I want to upgrade to larger aftermarket wheels and tires. Any pictures of an 2" RC kit on a Z71 Tahoe 2021. No air lift suspension.

Thank you for the quick response, I looked at the pictures and saw the Black Tahoe Z71 with the lift kit. I find it odd that it's on their website when their ad to sell the 2" kit specifically says it wont fit the 2021 Tahoe Z71. But ok, I just don't want to damage the ride or related components. So I am confused. Thx again

This black one says it's a Z71 but who knows anymore. The 2021 Z71 comes lifted a couple inches already. So that's why the RC 2" kit may require more suspension components unless someone can please inform me otherwise.

I’m not sure where you get your info from….but a z71 tahoe is not higher than any other 4x4 trim level. Same goes for AT4 vs Denali etc. They all have same clearance. Different body work only aside from magnaride and air ride in some. These are not the same as sierra or Silverado trucks where they do have a lift.

Well I kinda said where I got the info, which was the RC Tech support. But no, I didn't know that. So I guess that Tech thinks all z71's have air lift suspension although I told him I didn't. Ok then there shouldn't be a problem installing the 2" RC lift pretty much all I wanted to know. Thx

RC also claims their kit does not work on a yukon and the reason from their tech support was "they come from the factory with a different ride height" so I'm pretty sure they may be misinformed about what actually comes on these new vehicles. Have this kit on our yukon no issues

The upper ball joints cannot handle being lifted any more. Search around the Silverado/Sierra forums and you'll see tons of people with broken upper ball joints. Hint: it causes a LOT of damage when the upper ball joint fails.

What did you here or know about only the 1" leveling kit for the front end? I wonder if the stealer would void the repair warranty if a ball joint issue occurs. Hmmmm

If tons of folks have this issue, there must be ample evidence on this site. Post a link to a thread.
