Any info on lifting a ‘21 with air suspension

Seems like I can extend the leveling arms and use lower strut spacers front and back to gain 2”-3” of lift. Anyone have experience with this yet?

Seems logical. I think I would keep it at 2” or less, though. Would hate to cause damage to the bags by getting over inflated or something.

yeah, I’d keep the bag lift to 1”-1.5”. I could go up to 2” and never use the highest lift setting, which is only available in 4wd low and I’d rarely use. It would effectively make setting 3 (of 4) equivalent to setting 4.

So you got spacers for the bags then? Someone already making them, or custom made?

i think the thought process here is doable for the front as you are simply just relocating the strut assembly. then using the rod to tell the system where it is...

the rear on the other hand, will need an extender to give the shock the addition static length it needs to accommodate any spacer added

Then why wouldnt the front need it?

I would think at just a few inches or less, the original shocks (in there original position) should be fine. Front and rear. I mean, they will still be operating within in the factory restraints, as far as extension and compression goes...right?

I bought the rough country lower strut spacers for magnetic ride. Haven’t tried to install them yet and not even sure if they’ll fit but all the front Silverado lifts work on 2021 Non-air Tahoe’s/Yukon’s/suburbans. I’ll have custom upper strut spacers built if the lowers don’t work. I plan to try a lower shock extender on the rear if I can find on. If not, I’ll have one made. If that doesn’t work I’ll have to do a upper strut spacer on the rear as well. Both the front and rear utilize a single shock/strut/bag unit. Fabtec is making extended rear lower arms so the cv angle isn’t to severe. They haven’t released them yet but they’ll be part of their 3” kit. Unfortunately that kit is for non-air trucks only but the arms should still work. Edgy Mod links going on in the AM.

you want the extender for the rear to aid in providing factory ride quality...increasing the height by pressure will drastically stiffer the over all ride

The Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2's had a mod I think by QC Links or something like that. It was a simple thin pen/pencil type rod device that forced the bags to stay at a higher level. Could not do a lift on that vehicle.

My level works fine. And is adjustable. The higher you go with just links the stiffer the suspension will get since there is more psi in the bags. I went up a little f+r and have a “taught” feel.

Could alway combine with a 1-2” level for a stock ride.
