All 3 bolts are out already. I'm leaving it alone til tomorrow. Going to HF to get an air chisel. I've already beat the snot out of that rear hub plate. I even used a seawall to try to get between the spindle and plate. Nothing yet.
Beating it from the rear wil only make it worse it has to slide out of the machined knuckle bore that will just mushrooms it :( GD useless PB Blaster SUCKS.

Your right about not mushrooming the back of it. I am not sure it pokes through very far tho. Driving it with the bolts is his best bet now.

Sucks it's this far gone and trying to get it out without the hub on it. :(

Bought these for nothing. View attachment 352900
The center of the hub separated, but the hub end piece is stuck. Not even budging. Beat it with a mini sledge--no dice. View attachment 352901View attachment 352902View attachment 352903

Would heat help to get the back end off the spindle? Any suggestions or ideas to get it off?
Air hammer. I live in the south and salt is here but… when I rebuilt my whole front everything came apart. The only part I needed the air hammer was the bolts for the upper control arms.

And I’m working 16hr days to feed the beast. Good luck my brother!

All done.
I had to get me an air hammer from HF. 20211016_123640.jpg
Literally took 2 mins and it was off! HALLELUJAH!!20211016_123940.jpg20211016_124238.jpg
Well worth whatever I paid for it. I also installed a new cv ds axle. Weird thing--the brake maintenance light went off, but the abs light is still on. I tried to clear the codes but they just kept coming back. Next step is to swap out the ps sensor--and take it from there.

Congrats on a job well done. Checked all the wiring for the sensors?
Thx Ron. I didn't really check the wiring. The hub came with a brand new sensor, so I just plugged it in. I had bought a new replacement sensor about a month ago for the ds, so I'll just swap that to the ps side. If I still have the abs light on I'll just go from there. Hopefully it'll be as simple as that--HOPEFULLY.

Great! And you have a nearly indispensable tool now. Next to a torch and impact wrench that is a rust belt mechanics best friend. I knew it would work.
