I am in the process of looking for wheels. I think im going with 22s, maybe black snowflakes. Can you all show me your 22s?! I have a black 2015 Tahoe.

Thanks! Those look great! I have only seen a few pictures of snowflakes and I haven't seen ANY around where I live but most of the Tahoe's are here are stock. Are snowflakes super common? I'm hoping to gain so new knowledge from this forum this is my first Tahoe and I LOVE IT!I don’t have many pics of my truck. This one has been posted on the site a few times. But these are 22s from 2021 Tahoe. (Aftermarket)
the snowflakes are fire. But honestly they’ve made their debut too many times for my liking.
I used to live in Philly PA but now I’m like 25 mins away. Very common in the city. There’s a few tire shops that stock the snowflakes and such. That’s probably why they’re so common because impulsive purchasing of in stock product…. Obviously go for what you want. But they’re just not for meThanks! Those look great! @Tonyv__ what do you think of these ones I'm looking at? They are "snowflakes" correct?Similar to that... but these are the ones I'm talking about. I'm looking at aftermarket.
Yes those are snowflakes.@Tonyv__ what do you think of these ones I'm looking at? They are "snowflakes" correct?
No I don’t think they have a nickname yet.Excuse my ignorance, are "snowflakes" the ones on the 2021 build page called "low gloss black w/ machined accents"?
Those are 22? I always feel like 22s look too small but those look great. Here’s my Tahoe with Vossen HF6-3 in Matte GunmetalView attachment 349849
Have you driven it in the winter with 22s? I'm in maine and I was concerned but they come stock on some so I figured it cant be too bad. I'll get all season tires.Yes 22x 9.5 and just had the dealership throw my blizzaks on since it’ll snow here in Michigan in a month and a half anyway
That looks awesome! Thanks for the info!!We drove our Tahoe last winter on the OE tires. We have the 22" SEZ option wheels. Was fine. Wife only had one issue but she didn't know about the auto 4WD at the time. View attachment 350034
Yes we had a 2019 with 22s before this one and used these blizzaks on it last winter and was great, along with the auto 4wd I never felt like it was in danger of sliding out of control even in slush or heavy snow. The stock alenzas were awful, even with just an inch of snow they would slide all over. It seems like 22s are a lot more sensitive to which tire you’re on when it comes to bad weather, since there’s not much sidewall to flex and hold the road you have to depend on the tread pattern more I’m guessing? Not sure.Have you driven it in the winter with 22s? I'm in maine and I was concerned but they come stock on some so I figured it cant be too bad. I'll get all season tires.
