Supposed to be straight but I banged it to slide the other end into the steering box shaft. I opened the opening a bit--so in Americanese--I fu-c-k-ed it up. I'm hoping it'll be ok.

Just watch the steering wheel swing when you're drifting.
I did that. I loosened the nut and pulled/yanked up on the shaft as I retightened. Same deal. I think the only way to fix it is to buy another lower shaft. Nope. I'm gonna run it for awhile, see what happens. Honestly I think it'll be fine tho.
You can’t feel that in the steering wheel as you’re driving?
I only drove around my neighborhood. Didn't notice anything different. Feels exactly the same. Guess I'll need to take it up to speed on a highway.
I just thought you might feel it when you’re turning the wheel but I guess not. Great!
I've actually tried a few different combos to correct it. Nothing worked. I think I might've gotten a little wobble out of it, but it's hard to verify since I was alone. Worse case scenario I'll just buy another shaft.
