Went to the Cadillac dealership and Test drove a 2017 Escalade premium luxury model yesterday. It took everything in my power to walk away. They offered me 8500 for a trade in on my rig. I told them hell no, I’m out and they bumped it up to 10k.

10 years ago, i would have pulled the trigger, thank goodness for growth.

i think I’m gonna do it at the end of the year.

Anyone have experience with Comp cams full roller rockers?
I'm looking at the ultra pro magnum rocker arms.

secondary would be the comp cams ultra gold aluminum rockers for $150 more.
looking at 1.8 or 1.82 ratio...

The bushingfix.com rubber bushing apparently does not like the California heat wave, I was waiting in line at the pharmacy and when I went to pull up my shifter decided to go limp dick, had to crawl under and push it back on, managed to get home and it popped off again so I macgyvered it by drilling a hole in the nipple, washer and a cotter pin leaving the rubber bushing in place, should be good for a long time.

When I went shopping for rockers, I ended up right back where I started with OEM and then just added a trunnion upgrade kit.

I took mine to get an emission test and..... It PASSED!! This is even with ARH lobgtubes and their cats. I'm also cammed and slightly bored out to almost 6.3L.... Shout out to Blackbear for the awesome tuning of this beast.

With blackbear, do you have to buy their tuner?
or is it a lease type of a thing?

I would love to just use hptuners and my licenses.

WTF? I don’t understand why an “improved” part would fail faster then the original. I still haven’t had an OEM one break.

Weird!
On a probably unrelated note.
I had issues with poly suspension bushings on my vette.
all was good until i was out in the heat for 30min or more (100+).
they turned to mush and my suspension had a ton of play.
It really fkd with me until i had a good alignment shop show me what was happening.
