Awesome, glad to see they’re still around!Yup, these are the Machine’s old calipers..! Thanks again Mark! I’ll probably replace them with powder coated next time.
Heck yeah! I’m really impressed with the GMT900 upgrade, combined with the stainless calipers. Kicks ass. I know they’re nothing like your Wilwoods, but I am unlikely to spend 5 grand on them. Maybe $1k after all is said and done. [emoji16][emoji106]. (Yea, I just went and looked them up... man they’re purty...) [emoji3166]Awesome, glad to see they’re still around!
Which kit did you go with? Why was it a pita? I ask because I was thinking about doing it too. Feel any improvement?Just cause all the positive rave about it. Cheap enough to buy plus I'm sure the bigger wheels on the truck adds stress to gear box. The way I see it, it will only prolong the life of all the new chassis I just installed.

I suppose when I have the funds to do a SC, that will “necessitate” the Wilwoods... [emoji6][emoji631]

Nice. Def gotta post what you think at higher speeds.KYB SS15326
In the last 3K miles I have replaced
Inner/outer tie rods
Pitman arm
Idler arm and bracket assembly
Gear box
Front KYB shocks
My steering felt great already and I have lifetime alignment at Firestone so it would get checked after I installed every round of parts. I dont know that I feel much difference but I have only driven it on small streets under 40 MPH. No highway driving yet. I still have moog uppers arms and lower balls joints and new sway bar links that I should be installing soon.
that's from a block heater
In my quest to appease the fuel vapor nazis.. er, the eh CEL P0455.. I replaced the vapor purge valve solenoid today. AC Delco part of course. Man, this intake is embarrassingly dirty. I think I need a need a TBSS, or NNBS intake to replace it.. [emoji3166]... but in the meantime, hoping this settles the CEL down and I don’t have to go further with the more fun parts replacements.

Yeah I found the other end of it the truck's not running right since I put the new engine in necessary because of a cold start wish I had known it had a block heater before and wish I knew where to plug it in at nowthat's from a block heater
Block heater replaces a freeze out plug. Def go with an oem replacement oil sending unit.Yeah I found the other end of it the truck's not running right since I put the new engine in necessary because of a cold start wish I had known it had a block heater before and wish I knew where to plug it in at now
Today I'm pretty sure I need to replace the oil sending unit has the gauge reads 0 pressure and the truck stalls after 15 or 20 minutes
The engine swap was done locally by a regular mechanic
Went on a 2.5 hour trip to visit our injured dog and when I rolled up the windows the left rear would not go all the way up. My wife says "at least it isn't raining". 20 minutes into the trip back it rained nonstop
Luckily I could get window up about 3-4 inches from the top and with the rain guards it wasn't too bad.
So I ordered a new regulator/motor assy and while I was at it ordered new wiper arms that fold up/out like somebody mentioned in a post a while back. They were under $30 for the pair so it's worth a try so I don't have to wrestle with the squeegee when I clean the windows.
My 02’s wipers fold up. Or used to before the cowl hood. So buy 02 wipers!Whoa whoa whoa hold up! Wiper arms that flip out like a normal car? Link please
I think it’s worth it, it helped when I was running 26’s. I will say my truck drives straight as hell and doesn’t wander. It’s cheap to add it and pretty easy. It’s basically a shock absorber that attaches to the steering linkage.Nice. Def gotta post what you think at higher speeds.
@Rocket Man, what's your take on this kit? Worth it? Felt a noticeable difference with it?
