How does it match up with your Tech2 when the motor is running?
Gauge shows higher

I previously took apart the cluster to put some blue tint over the odo display. I reset all needles to the 1st lower notch--by sweeping needle all the way to the right til it hit the internal stop, then sweeping it to the left, to the 1st notch. I just noticed the speedo needle isn't resting on it either.

That’s why I don’t like pulling the needles off. There’s some YT videos on how to get them correct. The companies that sell gauge faces only tell you how to install them back like they were before you pulled it apart by taking a picture before pulling them but not how to calibrate them if they get installed wrong. It’s a PIA.

I didn't want to pull it apart but I installed that blue tint @iamdub had given me to cover up that bright ass odo display. As long as the other gauges are correct--hopefully--idc.

I'd be curious to know if you think it changed your speedometer readings, after you drive it for a bit.
Me too lol. It was pretty accurate up to 50 mph, after that it would read around 3 mph or more faster. So if I was doing 75 it would say 78. I know because I always have my gps on.

The speedo must be calibrated in the TCM because Blackbear adjusted mine a couple times for different tire/wheel sizes. So unless you’re programming the TCM using SPS you won’t be able to do it with the Tech2. You need to flash the TCM afaik.

I've had an issue for awhile--slowing down and coming to a stop, the pedal would pulsat as I came to the stop. The abs would kick in. So today I took off the ds front abs sensor and cleaned the magnet pickup. There wasn't really any debris, but I cleaned it off anyway, and sprayed a bunch of brake clean inside the hub. Still does it. I also swapped out a clogged zerk on the ds lower bj. That's good now. Still gotta do 2 on the ps.
