I just replaced all of my suspension parts (front struts and springs, rear shocks, front strut mounts and spring seats), about $600. Installation would be about $450. The PPV parts seem to be more expensive, so $4000 seems a little high, but maybe I’m missing something? The rear springs are the same as standard Tahoe springs, so those are cheap.

You replaced it with a PPV suspension?

I looked for a good police package Tahoe a few years back but could never find a good one.

What shocks and springs did you order for the front? Do you have any part numbers?

I just drove my new 2018 Tahoe PPV home today from Chicago Motors. I am SOOOOO happy with it, 2000% better interior and creature comforts wise over the GEN3 ('09-'14).

New Whip = 2018 Tahoe PPV 4WD w/70k - Was the Head Sheriff's take home vehicle and it was optioned VERY well. Happy it came with a carpeted floor!

Anyway on my '09 (ITS FOR SALE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED!!!) I went with the Bilstein 5100's and was VERY VERY happy with the quality of the ride. That Truck was a SSV tho. I did notice that my new PPV's ride was pretty harsh, to the point I was wondering if the rear shocks were bad. Looks like I might be buying some 5100s for my new PPV, just want to make sure the suspension is still tight, just more forgiving.

Anyone have the 5100's on a Gen4 PPV?

Really wanting to know if the "LS" 5100s will fit/work on the PPV even though it says "Except Police Package"

I am out to make the same change, the ride is harsh and not sure replacing with a new one would make any changes .
I wish someone had the answer for replacing it with something other than the original part

I’ve got a 2019 that I am putting police suspension into it I’ve got all the factory stuff from a 2019 civilian model that word bolt directly into yours. Mine is a four-wheel-drive model but I don’t think anything is the different because I’m putting 2 Wheel Dr. into my four-wheel-drive all the coils are the same.
