Took it for a little ride. Added 1 qt of trans fluid. Drove great--so far. I noticed my steering wheel is a click off center, which might be the tires, idk.

They look good, but they stick out kind of far. I can't wait to get a night shot.
Glad to hear it Tony! Hopefully you got the trans up to temp before checking the fluid. Or was that to replace what blew out the other day..? Make sure you get a good warm measurement, to be sure she’s topped off. I think it’s not really detrimental to have it even a little over the full mark, but definitely don’t want it low. How’d she run..? Everything coming together finally..? Sounds like you need an alignment as well. Always something..! Lights look good. Looking forward to a night shot.

I had an alignment done maybe a little over a month ago. Do you remember that whole debacle? Screw it--I'm leaving it. It just might be the knobby tires I put on. Trans was def warmed up--got that handy dandy trans temp gauge. It was low from the other week when the line popped off, so it took around 8 qts so far.

Thx Sam.
Check your tire pressure and swap the left for the right on the front. The slight pull may go away.
Funny--the rear ds tire was low 3 lbs, I filled it--no biggie, but I never noticed if the steering wheel was a little off before that.

ROAD TRIP!!
I’m guessing my pizza won’t be delivered in time for dinner since you HAVENT EVEN LEFT YET. On another note, I went on the freeway day before yesterday after driving around in the snow and it started vibrating and the steering wheel was shaking so bad at 45 that I put on my flashers and took the next exit, and went back home. I found one tire was 10 lbs low but was afraid that wasn’t the issue so I finally took it back on the freeway today and it’s fine. Might have been ice built up on something causing the shaking but it’s good now. So your truck is running good Tony?

I'm scared to say it because I don't want to jinx myself--BUT--It's running pretty damn good.
That's weird with your frontend shaking so bad like that. 10 lbs low wouldn't do that. Was the tread on the tire all cupped on the edge?

I’d bet that he had some snow packed in his rims.

I've had that happen before when slush froze on my rims. Stopped and kicked it off as best I could, but it came back down the road. Perfect conditions for it to happen.

I had a 2000 Grand Prix that had so much snow packed into the front wheelwells that I couldn't even turn the wheels. Was making the 30 mile drive home from work after 2nd shift in a wicked snowstorm - must have been over 1' of snow on the ground, the plows weren't out yet and there was only 1 set of tire tracks across the entire road. Luckily I didn't meet anyone coming the other way, but when I tried to turn right I found out just how lucky I was. I bet I spent a good 20 minutes with my ice scraper chipping away at that shit!
