Needed a new SUV and settled on the 2021 Z71. Traded in my beloved Raptor to get more room. While I loved the Raptor dearly, I really like the new Z71. Looked at Expedition, Sequoia and Armada too. Chevy had them beat. Looking forward to reading about all the ways I can mod this thing. Thanks!

Welcome from Miami Beach John!

Excellent choice getting the Z71 for more room. The Raptor is the only truck that looks nice from Ford.

Love the black, it hides that stupid rear window upsweep. ;)

I appreciate all the responses! Raining cats and dogs here so will have to wait on additional photos. Only have 70 miles on the Z71 but I am falling in love. Looks bigger but is actually a little smaller than the Raptor. Has 56 less horsepower but weighs about 300 pounds less. Feels faster. Couple MPGs better gas mileage but who buys these things thinking about gas mileage? Looking forward to reading all I can on this forum.

I apologize if I have offended anyone here. No excuse for it, just becoming more jaded as time goes by.

What @wjburken said. We joke and kid around all the time. You will see. So, fair warning, thicken up the skin because we aren't done yet. :chewie:

Read thru these threads and you will see a lot of it.

Yeah...I doubt anyone takes offense to anything around here from what I’ve seen. For crying out loud...I’m the nerdy guy you see in movies who gets tied up with duct tape to a rolling chair in high school by the football team and gets rolled around the school.

:yaoface2: Wait...THAT was ME?! :hmmm2:

Glad to know the group is like that. You never know what to expect when you're new.

And I was on the football team and on the honor roll. Talk about conflicted feelings. I would duct tape myself to the chair.

Hey, someone has to go in the chair and get taped, might as well do it to yourself and get it over with. My youngest brother was a sophomore and had a leg problem where they had to break his leg and reset it and while it grew back out over time he had to wear built up shoes. He is a big guy like me but back then he was smaller and got made fun of. He waited it out and his senior year he was a stud on the wrestling team. He paid every one of those people back. One got locked in a locker. The others that really did a number on him, got the crap beat out of them. After school of course. He never looked back from there.

At one time I wrote service for Monaco Motorhomes. We had people come in with a complaint of their roof a/c systems shutting down. The fix was simple. The motorhome owners were custom painting the existing roof a/c covers and when they were darker covers, the heat inside there was crazy. We would just take a stock white cover and install and the problem was solved.
