thought I’d share about my adventure day today.... lol
So today I ended up driving off the mountain. Desperately needed to get to a chemical guys detail garage to restock on products. When my private snowboarding lessons that were supposed to be booked on the ski resort for yesterday morning and this morning canceled at the last minute, I told my manager that since I wasn’t technically on the schedule that I wasn’t gonna come in. Lol. needed to just get out of dodge for a bit.

So I got up this morning, had some breakfast, fired up the Nali and hustled off the mountain. Rolled into the high desert pick and pull yard cuz I saw they had a 2004 Yukon xl come in a few days ago. That trip was a bust and nothing usable off any of the GMT800 vehicles they had. No big deal so I drove down cajon pass and into riverside and grabbed what I needed from detail garage.
On the way home I’m like “hmmmmm I’m going right near the San Bernardino pick and pull yard, no rush and they’re open til 5.... yeah I’m gonna scoot in there!” Holy shit there were a ton of full size GMs! I’m walking around and I see a gmt900 Escalade headlight... “I’m like that’s odd how the heck did that get here?!” Then I see an 18 inch esky wheel laying on the ground and think well maybe it was on an older Tahoe or Yukon.... and then around the corner of the aisle and there sits a 2007 ESV.... mind blown.... lol never seen a GMT900 ever in my socal pick and pull yards....
sadly the old gal was picked over pretty well, the only way to tell it was a caddy was by looking at the tailgate that was sitting on the ground with the Escalade badge. The entire front end was completely gone, fenders, hood, front clip, even the complete engine bay had been stripped... Just thought it was interesting to see a GMT900 in my local yard. I am probably gonna be in the market for a GMT900 in the next couple months so it would be pretty cool if they started regularly stocking them in the yards to Pilcher parts hahaha.

The GMT900s are pretty scarce around the Denver yards, too. If they have them, they're early models, '07 or '08. Lots more GMT800s, but those get picked over or moved out pretty fast.

Wow..crazy to think those are already ending up there. I’d definitely pull those quarter panels. And those dang seats look nicer than mine! Haha!

Yeah the GMT800s get picked over super quick here too.

Wow! A black NNBS ESV. Pulling the doors to get the cards, Caddie specific glass and doors with the longitudinal bling that runs under the exterior door bumpers was a prize for someone.

The possibilities of a LEGO like swap to personalize a Tahoe, Yuke or Burb boggles the mind. Getting all the accessory harnesses for specific, seamless upgrades is gold.

I could use the arm rests off of the second row captains... :)

And those seats look pretty good, except it looks like someone sliced the side of one of the second row.

I have lots of GMT800s and always a handful of GMT900s at my local LKQ. Now that the weather is warming up, I'm gonna try to get back over there just to see what's around. I'd offer to grab y'all some stuff, but I can never commit to getting over there.

I'll totally pay you for your time + part if you can find a pair of arm rests for the black leather captain chairs.
I'll need the hardware if available as well.

New, just the arm rests are like $70 each iirc.
My captain chairs look identical to the ones in the above image.
