blind spot also requires the sensors and a module and programming into the DICFolding mirrors would be nice but i'd be doing this mainly for the blind spot detection. I have an LT. Hoping I see an answer to this in the near future.

So you possible have the YouTube link and the link to the post in the other forum? ThanksI finally got the DL3 upgrade for my 2016. Since the blindspot won’t work without rear objects sensors, there are options to get power folds, signal, puddles without blindspots indicators. The folding, signal, and puddle lights work perfectly! It was kinda surprised since I didn’t expect the puddles would work, and it looked great at night since it was LED bulbs. Thanks to genestoy for great instructions over at gm-trucks forum, and with help of youtube I got both done in about 1 and 1/2 hrs.
@cmatt
you have any more pics of the 1a auto mirrors on your yukon. thinking about getting some for our 2015 suburban for towing as the factory mirrors are a joke. haven't seen many pics of them installed so hard to imagine what would look like. also which model did you purchase from 1a & what did it take to get everything to work?
thanks
I was actually working on those for a member on the GM-Trucks forum, MT Elk Hunter. He posted a number of picks with them installed on his suburban there. He also tows and was looking for a viable option and settled on the 1AAuto mirrors. These are the ones he purchased. Note they are manual fold.

For a factory-like solution, it requires a set of harnesses from me. The suv platform doesn’t have the running light and cargo light circuits run to the doors. I customize the door harnesses so all that’s needed is to swap them with your original ones. I also include the harness installed in the cabin that will bring those circuits to the door connectors. Once complete, all the functions will work. You will be able to use a headlamp switch like this to turn on the cargo lamps.

I was test fitting the mirrors and testing the functions after I completed the wiring. Here’s some pics I have testing them.

thanks @cmatt for the info. i do have a couple questions though.
1. if you just install the mirrors with standard harness what will work/not work (i have LT suburban non folding no turn signals no blind spot)
2. what options can you get to work without buying the new headlight switch? i assume its the truck version?
just trying to see what options there are to keep cost down. that way i could maybe do it in phases first buy & install the mirrors they purchases harnesses etc later on as money allows.
here is the link to the post with MT Elk hunters Yukon if anyone would like to see the pics of mirrors installed.

In short, yes. You’ll swap out your door harnesses with the ones I provide. Then you’ll add the cabin side harness along with one wire that lands in the fuse block in the engine bay.
The cabin side harness closely follows the install procedure for the RZY harness some trucks need for tow mirrors. Tinkering Fox has a video that does a great job showing the install.
I build the harnesses customized to your vehicle’s options and those you want to add if possible. PM me to discuss specifics for your vehicle.

I have a 2016 LT tahoe that i have added the dl3 mirrors and both door switches the fold works but not the puddle or turnsignal. is that the same harness you offer or is there some thing else i need to do?The DL3 mirrors are plug and play depending on the wiring present in the door harnesses and on the body side. That’s typically dictated by the trim level (LS, LT, LTZ/Premier and GMC counterparts) and option packages (i.e. Luxury Package, Texas Edition Package, etc.).
I make a custom harness that will allow you to add the puddle, signal, auto dim and folding features (folding switch required) for the DL3 mirrors. Blind spot is a no go without additional modules and programming. I make the harnesses to order for your application based on the circuits needed.

Yep, my harness will enable those features. Send me an email at [email protected].I have a 2016 LT tahoe that i have added the dl3 mirrors and both door switches the fold works but not the puddle or turnsignal. is that the same harness you offer or is there some thing else i need to do?
Hey new here I have a 2015 Sle wanted to add the power folding mirrors with turn signal. I read your post wanted to know was everything plug & play with the mirrors. Using the exact part numbers you mentioned.Has anyone attempted to add power folding mirrors to their 2015 Tahoe/Yukon that did not come with them? I have purchased a set of new DL3 mirrors (23464428 drivers & 23464427 pass) with the power fold, turn signals, auto dimmers and heated and also the drivers door switch (23488411) with the fold button. I tried to install the switch but the connector on the harness is a little bit different and immediately blew the #18 fuse at the end of the dash which runs the power adjust for the mirror glass.
I know the truck guys have added power fold camper mirrors but the Tahoe/Yukons are different than the trucks so Thought I would start a topic to see if we can get this accomplished!
Also if anyone can provide a schematic of the DL3 mirror wires (17 of them) so I can figure out what wires do what it would be appreciated.
I am also assuming that new door harnesses will have to be installed but wondering if that is all and will they plug into the fuse panel the same as the original one(s)?
HI I wanted to know where those after market mirrors like from 1A auto or were those oem mirrors?Got it done today, purchased 2 new power folding, turn signal mirrors and the drivers door switch (the correct one is 23154702) and everything was plug-n-play! Love the new amber turn signals in the mirrors. The only thing that does not work is the puddle lights and I don't care about them anyway. No new harnesses needed, was already wired which was a shock! Took about 2 hours to do it all.

if you use OEM dl3 mirrors and the harness and the mirror switch with fold then yes it is plug-n-play, aftermarket mirrors will work also IF they have all the same options, generally speaking though aftermarket stuff just isn't the same quality at all. you also have the option to add auto dimming with additional wiring and a autodim rearview mirrori know this is an old post wanted to know where you got the dl3 mirrors were they oem or after market and was everything plug and play
Thanks will the Dl3 mirrors work with my stock harness already in my SLE or will I have to get new harnesses along with the door switch?if you use OEM dl3 mirrors and the harness and the mirror switch with fold then yes it is plug-n-play, aftermarket mirrors will work also IF they have all the same options, generally speaking though aftermarket stuff just isn't the same quality at all. you also have the option to add auto dimming with additional wiring and a autodim rearview mirror
heat, fold, blinker, puddle lights will all work plug-n-play
**note the puddle light function will only work when it is dark out or if you cover the sun sensor on the dash
