dealer called me and they seem have found the electrical problem: bad Alternator

I have several aftermarket mods/accessories installed so GM wouldn't cough up for the 2hrs diagnostic time but they did cover the alternator.

the tech wrote:

voltage spiking bcm opening ignition relay, remainder of entertainment and information modules erratic communication, found 100-800mil second 18+voltage spike with cold engine operation, isolated.

I just picked it up and on the drive home it worked fine, I am going to take a nice long road trip on Sunday and I will report back if the problem returns.

Driver's side is loose fit on, takes about 25 bolts per side, and 50 washers lol takes a little time about hour per side I guess, a couple of the fittings take a sleeve bolt and they obviously measured before applying the powder coat so you have to work those in and that takes a few minutes each, but so far so goodPXL_20201205_175202524.jpg

Looking good. I like that the step ups are square and not round tube.

Another unexpected thing, the rear step hanger requires you to use a factory bolt and the adapter is not wide enough for the factory attached washer so had to grind the washer flat on each side so it would fitPXL_20201205_184543194.jpg
