My weep hole is leaking !

I can get a Gates 45006 or an ACDelco 252-845 for about the same $$$.

Any preferences either way ?

AC/DELCO i went with it. Plus had a discount to use at Rockauto.com
I got gates hoses. They were NAPA still good but, I figured might as well change it all. New thermostat, new belts, new tensioners. Now all I need is to get to the oil pick up tube.

Anyone know which fuse is the one for the courtesy lights? Mine aren’t working for some reason (front and mid map lights) and I’m thinking this fuse also is the one for OBD2 diagnostic port?

The OBD port is powered off the cigarette lighter fuse. Unfortunately I am no help with the dome light issue.

Checked my $25 Amazon catch can after about 1,000 miles and I was happy with how much it caught but....... The out hose to the intake manifold still has oil which means some is still getting into the intake manifold.

Anybody have another option to plug in line to reduce the oil that gets by? I considered maybe putting some really fine steel wool in with the stuff that came in the can.

The paper towel shows how dirty the out line is.

Has any ran one of these exhaust easy-fix brackets. I just noticed the driver rear header bolt is not that, now I can hear the ticking of the lifters. Unless it just in my head, cause I know now that the bolt is missing lol
There have been a few people that have posted about using them with good success. I think there someone that has a set for sale on here. Might not be the right set though

Link to can?? Excuse the ignorance but are these engines prone to oil consumption where I see a lot of talk about catch cans??

I don't think they are prone to oil consumption until they are high mileage like nearly any other motor would be. My short block is kinda a mystery since it was swapped in and I have no idea how many miles are on it.

Heres the link I think it's the best buy you can make for under $50 and honestly it's as nice as my $300 mighty mouse can I just don't think it would work well for boosted applications. You will need to make your own bracket for mounting and get a better hose as the stuff it comes with is utter shit.

Hahaha that's one of my favorites someone gave to me last year.

Thanks!! What's the setup look like installed under the hood??? Im tempted to order and install one too. My rig has high miles for sure.

This is what mine looks like, the bracket is a little crooked but oh well works for me.

Had to replace the dreaded cooling hose tee's at the firewall. Found a steady coolant leak there. Recently found a bent right rear lower locating arm at the differential and just replaced all four arms. Recently had to replace the front bank 1 oxygen sensor that was dead and causing a rough idle in gear. I replaced the other 3 sensors yesterday. Replaced the non working third brake light assembly and the driver's side outside mirror assembly because the glass vibrated at highway speeds and could not see very well from the shaking glass.

Next up, all cooling system hoses and clamps. I will also be changing out the coolant reservoir and the reservoir cap. I believe the radiator hoses have been done but the rest look original and so I am replacing all of them. The next item after that will be the oil seepage at the front of the oil pan gasket and the oil pickup tube o-ring while the pan is down.
