Does the side profile look less like a big traverse in person?

I can see where you could see a traverse, or equinox but I think that’s because of basic 4 door design. But I don’t see a larger traverse when I look at the Tahoe
I see a smaller Tahoe

The C pillar chrome and rear windows look very similar to me. No other full sized SUVS look like a traverse to me. Not necessarily a bad thing. The traverse is a decent looking car.

^I agree. I've always thought there was a strong resemblance to the Traverse from the side view.

The new Tahoe reminds me of a Dodge Durango. The overall profile (particularly the hood and windshield) are very similar.

And whenever I see a new Silverado, I think "Toyota Tundra".

I finally saw one in person yesterday. It’s not that bad. Looks more like a refresh than a full redesign but it certainly looks better in person than in pictures. Still very traverse-y from the side. The chrome kills it. Would need an immediate wrap job for me.

This was about 4 weeks ago, my son and I were out for a cruise in the GTO and figured we'd stop by Dekalb Chevy/Caddy in Sycamore to see if they had any. They did and my Son took these pics

Is the sun roof standard or optional? I've never seen a sun roof that didn't either leak (at some point) or have mechanical problems, like getting stuck in the half open position. I would definitely opt out of the sun roof. The entertainment/sound system looks pretty good. Send the kids out to the driveway to watch videos in the Yukon...that is definitely a plan!

My experience has been the opposite. We've had sunroofs in a lot of vehicles, and none have ever leaked, or even malfunctioned. Three Yukon Denali's (2005, 2009, 2016), five Honda Accords, two Honda Preludes, a Honda CRV, an Acura RDX, a Ford Probe, and a new Cadillac XT4, no leaks. Had t-tops in 4 F-bodies too, only one leaked, and was tight as a drum when I replaced the worn out seals (1987 IROC). I would never buy a vehicle without a sunroof, if I had the option.

Currently own 3 convertibles, and have owned many: every single one leaked like a sieve! My Yukon XL sunroof - never leaked a drop!
