It's the family road trip vehicle, but also my dd. Looking at doing an L96 with btr stage 2 v2 truck cam, and an LSA top end setup. I may put cats in the long tube's if needed just to tame if i have to. Otherwise ill be looking at finding a stock 6.2 catback and start over. I like to tinker and this gave me something to do.

Very nice! I wish I could build up an L96 for mine and drop it in! Maybe someday.

P0300 misfire. Cleared it out and see what happens. Been running the AFM all week to prepare for the emmision scan so I think that had something to do with it. I hope.

What do you mean by "running AFM all week"? Do you normally have it disabled, and how? Having it disabled shouldn't effect emissions test.

I have my AFM disabled as well as some other things tweeked using a Diablosport Intune I3 and had mine inspected in August with no problems.

When you clear codes, I think it also resets the emissions readiness monitors, so those will have to go through their drive cycle tests before it's ready to test emissions

He’s got the range plug in on the obd port, when you pull it you have to wait a day or two for shit to reset before inspection if you pull it right before inspection monitors are shown as not ready and it will fail.

Was just out picking up a prescription from the local Walgreens and was sitting at a light and decided to do a quick 0-60 romp. When the light turned I slowly rolled into it then floored it.

Pulled the video from my dashcam.

Nice. Looked like 9 seconds or so..?

Thanks guys, are you in PA Paul? That's what I was worrying about is if the stabilitrac system error would **** up my inspection report. I already pulled my Range Technology device last week to run a week without it because apparently that ***** the test up somehow too. Both front bearings/sensors are only 3-4 years old.

Yup in Easton, PA. Home of the Crayola crayon, Lafayette College, Lehigh and Delaware rivers unite!

fixed my headlight problem (bad ballast), drilled a couple holes in the fender liner and zip tied 2 of the loose body harness under the fuse block, dealer can order a new connector but I would have to re-pin it so I may just hit up the good junkyard next time I go for a couple of the pigtails I need. after I was finished I was sitting in the truck with the key on and kept hearing a thump-thump sound every 45 seconds or so. I thought it might be my amp and subwoofer doing something weird so I opened the rear hatch and sat there for a minute, no noise, so I closed the hatch and the noise returned it kind of sounded like the rear hatch actuator was trying to re-lock so went back and pushed and pulled on the handle and it's all snug, then I realized what the sound was :Stupid Me: the stupid rear wiper was going on the slowest setting

You went buggy about noises. At least you found yours. I have not been so lucky as to be able to blame the rear wiper.

I thought for sure it was the rear hatch lock doing something weird and I was about to grab the tech2 then I saw the rear wiper was out of the parked position :nono: and i had just been messing with the wires at the fuse block so I was like great.....new problem

I finally got this done. My dumbass welded it on the wrong side of the muffler, should have been on driveshaft side. Ended up needing a decent "clearance" dent to fit. Haven't hit the highway yet, just a quick trip around the block, it has definitely changed the tone as far as i can tell at idle. Can still hear under acceleration, my intake drones under mild load also [emoji2373].

Is that a quarter-wave attenuator? I put a couple of those on my Mustang back in the day. After swapping to a catless h-pipe and Flowmasters, it had a bad drone around 2250rpm, right at highway cruise speed in fifth gear. The attenuators cut the sound power to less than half (-4dB) at that rpm. Worked wonders.

Yes hemholtz chamber aka ¼ wave. It works pretty well considering i didn't do any math i just copied what some of the guys on one of the forum's for a Silverado in my searching. My 2k rpm drone is gone. My afm still is annoying but will be going away eventually.

I fiiled yesterday w/ E85 and this morning I remote started the Denali. Walking out after 3 min of running I got a wiff of the "sweet smell" I read about.

I was getting about 14+ mpg combined in my Denali with Range device installed ( definitely lose about 0.5 mpg) and now looks like the 12's...

But it IS peppier when you push the loud pedal....
