Regearing lifted Tahoe

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum page but I need help can't find much information but I have a 2007 tahoe lt lifted 9 inches on 22x14 with 37x13.50 mud tires and need help with finding the right gear to make up with my gas consumption I don't know what gears to go with or what to do, please help!

It's a math problem Felipe. When your truck was stock, if it had 265-70-17 tires and at 70 MPH here's what the rpms would be depending on the stock gears:

3.23 gears (4.8 motor) = 1683 RPMs
3.42 gears (5.3 motor) = 1782 RPMs
3.73 gears (5.3 motor) = 1943 RPMs

3.23 gears (4.8 motor) on 37s = 1436 RPMs
3.42 gears (5.3 motor) on 37s = 1521 RPMs
3.73 gears (5.3 motor) on 37s = 1658 RPMs

So here's some examples to get your RPMs back up:

3.73 gears on 37s = 1658 RPMs, similar to 3.23s
3.90 gears on 37s = 1734 RPMs, similar to 3.42s
4.10 gears on 37s = 1823 RPMs, similar to 3.42s
4.30 gears on 37s = 1912 RPMs, similar to 3.73s
4.56 gears on 37s = 2027 RPMs, similar to 3.73s
4.88 gears on 37s = 2170 RPMs, More oomf off the line!

Agreed. More rolling mass and lifted higher and pushing more air. Other things as well. You can try to duplicate the rpm's of factory tire size but that does not always equate to same MPG.

I have 37’s and I have 4:88 which is perfect.
