Stick with what got you here and use the AC Delco. I like to also always replace the fuel filter and the fuel pump relay. Why are you saying the pump is needed?

I’ve never had one fail. But in the rare case one ever did, say the fuel pump relay quit, I can swap my horn relay in. Or my fog light relay. So you actually do have spares available. There’s several that are the same, and the only necessary one is the fuel pump relay. But they’re not like fuses- they don’t blow if there’s a short. A fuse supplying power to the relay will blow. I mean, if it makes you feel better then by all means replace them. But there’s really no need.Exactly since they are only 6 bucks rather have spares available as well so when one does shit the bed and I'm in the middle of nowhere I can just swap it out.
