Is he going over the new motor in the Esky? How many miles? Did /does it run? I sure hope he dissects that motor before slapping heads on it.

Don't really know much about it, but I told him he does need to go through it, not just to slap it together.

I would certainly hope so...don’t need to go thru that again!

nice!, notice any difference stopping?

I flushed 48 oz of fluid through it all as I bled, so the pedal is pretty nice for a gravity bleed. Haven't really felt them, though. I followed the bedding procedure for the rear, so i figure i should do it for the front, too. Will scoot the the "track" and do it tomorrow after work. Good excuse to roll the Denali for one more day!

Question I’m sure everybody wants to know the answer to is if he’s going to put you on the back burner again? I know some parts need to be changed and what not...

I really hope not. I reminded him he's had it for 4 months, and it's actually been 1 year since it's been undriveable. I didn't want to be put on the back burner--AGAIN. He said he wants to get rid of it as much as I want it back. So I let him know where I was coming from.

And got my painted parts back from the paint booth today..! Finally, I can put these on and they match!

Still working on the brake calipers.. a bit more sanding and then I’ll paint them. (Thanks again @Rocket Man!)

Moving more slowly than I’d like on her. Just discovered my civic likely needs a head gasket.. [emoji3525]

Ok so.. when I use VHT, or any dressing type stuff on the window trim, I have so much trouble with it getting on the glass. I have to clean the glass over and over, to get the stuff off of it. I need a better way! Tips are appreciated @Fosscore, @adventuredenali92, I’m looking at you guys for pro tips...! [emoji851]

I know, the correct solution, is to rid myself of the trim around he rear glass.. it’s on the list. [emoji16] ...but the side rear windows will still have it.. what am I doing wrong. [emoji3061]
Little late but what trim are you putting dressing on?

The window trim. Specifically the rear windows. And tailgate / hatch window trim. (I would like to replace the rear with a trim-free version ASAP, but for now I have the trimmed glass.
Also, tbh, I’m using either the Chemical Guys VHT, or the Chemical Guys TVD tire and trim gel.

It seems like it doesn’t really soak in, or change the trim at all. It’s just a layer over the top that’s pretty easily wiped off.

Other than painting the trim I’m not sure what would work better. I just want it black, to match the windows and Esky appliqués! [emoji16][emoji106]

About a week ago I hacked off my factory exhaust, replaced the muffler, and added just a turn-down. After my first long trip I regretted it. The jnsane amount of drone on the highway gave me a migraine. Spent a day getting another full exhaust from the junkyard, and today installing it. Much better now.

I've swapped to LED because I wanted to drain less current from the battery. Adding resistor would cancel that gain.

I'm currently browsing Amazon to find some stuff. Before I buy some aftermarket LED Taillight i need to test if I can melt together turn signal and reverse light within one bulb.
I'll need a 3157 socket for the Amber/White LED bulb. What is the socket size of the reverse light ?
I see TOMALL T25 socket and a chinese brown socket wich seems to be T20....
Some have a plastic locking tab some don't....
