so hes just not as good a friend as you thought anymore.

shop across the st from me, had my ss back in 24 hrs for the tc install. 500 plus fluids. same price as a engine swap for the labor.

and hes been busy. has 6 guys full time wrenching. his lot is always full of cars waiting to be worked on. very rare to see the same car in the lot for more then a few days.

clearly you ran into the cam bearing BS, so thats not really his fault, falls under murphys law really. but hes been dragging his feet from the start. he needs to start treating you like a normal customer.

I agree. Hopefully I won't need him after this. Guy(Shop) down the street from me wanted almost 2k for a swap--just for labor! I couldn't afford that.
If I'm doing work for a friend I def don't treat them like this. All good tho.

Check your connector at trans. They are known to leak past the seal or could be a bad connection. If you can. How’s the shoulder bud? Hangin in there?
Hey Jim, thx for chiming in.
I went to the trans guy, got both solenoids swapped out. Trans fluid was burnt. Changed it out 6-7 months ago. He said it's most likely the tc going out. It shifts again, but the rpms are higher then it should be, and it shutters when taking off from a stop. FML!!! So since there's no more GN, Tahoe STILL isn't done, I'm screwed when this goes out. Yay me.
My shoulder is slowly coming along. Thx for asking. I can already see it won't be 100% tho, and I'm still having pain. I have a Dr appt tomorrow so I'll see what he says. My buddy just said I should have the Tahoe Friday. I've heard that before. I'll believe it when I see it!

Stay optimistic on all accounts. My buddy thought the same thing about his shoulder and now he says that’s his better one. He worked it on his home weight bench besides therapy so no pain no gain brother!
Probably a good thing you can’t drive the GN as a backup, some douchbag might hit it if you had to daily it. Besides, you wouldn’t want to start racking the miles on it after all that time keeping the miles off.
Hope the trans stays together for ya. Get the Hoe back and trade the van off for another one when your healthy again. Shit always finds a way to work themselves out but that doesn’t mean it always come easy either. Hang in there, your in my thoughts and prayers for a full speedy recovery.

Shoulders take forever to heal, have patience. When I was in my motorcycle accident and tore my AC joint it hurt for 8 months. You’re will most likely heal 100% since you had surgery. Looking forward to seeing your Tahoe back and running, keeping my fingers crossed!

Thx for the kind words Jim. Hard to be optimistic when I'm always in a shit storm lol! I'll try tho. My son has been dd'ing the GN. I think I told you I gave it to him. I told him to be careful. He's enjoying it--Makes me happy that he has it. He's fixed a few things on it already. Now he needs to learn how to adjust the boost and fuel without blowing it up! Only adjusted to 12-14 lbs, has alot more in it.

Thank you Mark. I just want to be 100% again. Sux to hurt so long. I can't wait to start working out again. I lost a ton of muscle mass!! Got a dr appt for my shoulder today. Hopefully he'll give me good news. I actually cancelled pt on Monday because I was in so much pain.

Damn. Sucks man. Just stick with your PT and take it easy on that shoulder. Don’t want to damage what the Doc fixed up! Take care Tony.
