Should have died today...I-75 S in ATL/Marietta at Mount Paran. Swerved suddenly left into the HOV lane to avoid a driver coming into my lane, over-corrected and went across all 5 lanes, hit an Army transport vehicle, bounced off of him, back left across 2 lanes scraped the right of another car, and then hit the concrete wall. The driver that came into my lane keep going and my truck looks like a total loss. It's been fun reading this forum, but I think that I'm toast. I'm trying not to feel bad about the love and time that I've put into maintenance, upgrades, repairs, transmissions, body work, and other pride inspired self starter type efforts that I've put into this truck, and just instead remember that it likely saved my life. I will not buy anything less than a full-size. Maybe I'll get lucky and find another one nearly like it.

I’ve been in a couple of hairy accidents myself and I’m glad you were able to walk away. You never know what is around the next corner. I have 3 young drivers and we just moved to a new city and I worry every time they get behind the wheel

Sourced some Morel 6504 lifters so once they arrive I can put this thing back together. Been a slow process but I haven't been in a hurry so just want to beat the worst of the Texas heat.

Damn! Glad you are still alive and no major injuries. Take it easy for a few days and get checked out. I am sure you are feeling some stiffness by now.

I have the husky “classic” ones all around. Don’t mind the pattern, and they work quite well. Had them for probably a year or so now.

Those huskys look pretty good. I have rugged ridge mats in my Jeep and they fit like a glove.

I have Lloyd Luxe Carpet Mats in my Escalade. They fit well, are very plush, but do move around a bit more than I'd like. They are pricey though. The kids are hell on them though, if I were to do it again I would probably go with something more like the huskys or rugged ridge.

They work great. These pics were taken right after install also, so the rear cargo liner smoothed out a bit more after it relaxed. Came in a big box bit was still folded up.

There's a lot I don't know. Like what's a valley pan gasket?

But what I do know is many have had the fittings go bad at the heater core. One of yours looked yellowish and it may be something to consider. Just my $.02.

But really...what's the valley gasket?
My heater core fittings blew up on me (plastic gets brittle eventually with heat cycles) hours away from home in the santa cruz mountains with the whole family in the rig. Clamped the hose to the heater core pipe directly, and filled up radiator with water bottles/melted ice in the cooler I had in the truck to limp it home.

I would definitely replace those before they strand you somewhere.

I found some carpet hold downs called Eagle Klaws, they work awesome. It’s like screwing your carpets in place.
