Lol. My wife just rolls her eyes or cough cough is not aware of what has been changed/modded most of the time.

She helped me test fit the hood the first time and asked why I bought another hood.

I said because - HD hood woman!

Now she knows why the change was warranted as it looks badass!! She just hates my OEM hood taking up space in the kids bike shed. Oops... and a set of wheels and tires too. Lol

HD hood is king of all body mods on our trucks.
I find myself looking more often every week to find one locally.

I don't want to discount the many awesome cowl hoods on here, but for an OEM bolt on part, the HD hood is one of my favorites.

Hmm. Looking closer at it, I think that the hood in Austin is just a regular hood. There isn't a straight-on or 3/4 angle, but just from the shadows it casts, I think it's not and HD hood after all. Bummer.

Fixed the condenser and replaced the thermostat. The shop who did my cam, failed to tell me they swapped the dexcool with regular antifreeze. That in itself wouldn't be a big deal, if I would've known, I wouldn't have filled the overflow bottle with dexcool! All green now. Thermostat didn't solve my problem. Still no pressure in the cooling system and it runs warmer now. Not overheating, but just warmer. I don't get it.

That shop did alot of stuff that wouldn't make me happy. Glad you're keeping your cool.
