It wasnt 2 month after I bought my 2008 I put that Diablo Predator canned tuner on it. Mainly to trun off the speed limiter and DOD function. Hoe has 170k miles on it now and still going strong.

I really didn't realize tryin to find a 2012-2014 Nav Bose rear DVD radio would be this hard. Even the 2007-2011 are getting rare.

How much you willing to give for one? If you're willing to pay enough to incentive me to to upgrade my headunit we might can make something happen!

Im starting to think a swap for the newer 2012-2014 HU cant happen. Cant find anyone who makes an 'adapter' harness for plug n play. May end up just getting another 2007-2011 radio.

Gotcha. Yea seemed kind of odd to me too. He didnt have much info about any of them, Then he got very short with me at the end till the point i was like ya know what just forget...

Fencing operation. If he doesn't ship them it's not an FBI, postal service violation. Interstate commerce violation, federal violation. He's also thinking what if you're law enforcement.

No, not that bad.

It’s preferences really. I like factory look so I did the upgrade from the base radio and everything works well, Bluetooth, xm, navigation, etc. I honestly have no problem..... and it definitely is factory, chimes, steering wheel controls and all.

That being said, it looks dated, technology is old and my money was prob better spent on aftermarket. Keep in mind I don’t care for ‘systems’ so I don’t need bass, kickers and all that So it’s fine for me.

I think I saw you were taking about boosting so really, with aftermarket, you can incorporate the extra gauges you need/want in the head unit (with that Torquepro App or whatever it is)

I dunno, something for you to think about I guess.

I did the factory upgrade from 07-10 Navi to 11-14 on our 09 ESV Platinum. It lacks the 6 disc changer and motorized tilting view screen. The technology it picks up by going from DVD to hard drive navigation is worth it w/ a better view screen, faster OS, easily upgradable SD card based Navi data.

The Denali version is a little different than the Escalade system by looks but way better than the early Non hard drive units. The XM Nav Traffic receiver can be added that show live accidents and traffic back ups. A one button push will show you what’s happening within a 10-15 mile radius of you.

It also verbally controls most of pandora/music/BT/USB/iPod devices. It’s reliable, upgradable tech that stays stealth in your truck. Most importantly will be covered by insurance as a “previously factory upgraded” part. If, in the unlikely event it’s pinched, proof of installation & operation is all that’s needed to make a claim.

Here’s the harness you’ll need. Denali require one or two extra wires. Non Bose systems need a couple more things. The seller below can also program your HD unit to VIN match your truck. He may have a complete set up for you or just the harness.

My 2011 Denali still had DVD based navigation maps. My 2012 is hard drive based.

The XM traffic (there's weather too) does require a subscription

Something is not adding up. That link to a newer 2012-2014 HU shows the older 2007-2011 HU with the smaller plugs in the back, 15940102. I have that HU right now. Bought it off facebook marketplace last sunday. It came out of a 2007 Chevy Tahoe Z71.

The link for the harness looks JUST like the one I bought from OEM-Radios.com last week too. Same price, photo etc...

The newer hard drive radios have the big plug on the back. The two I have found is 22997866 DW468100-7471 and 23168280 DW468100-7500. Trying to get both of them. One for the wifey tahoe and the other for my DMax.

I left all the inaccurate info I posted last night intact. Watching tv, fireworks and posting links on a phone can definitely lead to errors lol...

I picked the most pricey HDD radio off eBay to show how sellers are gouging the price of these head units.

Thank you for pointing out the differences between the analog DVD based factory head units and the later SD card based Navi units. By the time GM got it right they changed the HU to easily swapped out modular units (CUE).

There is a company that makes an add in module for Apple CarPlay into the factory screen of these units. I’ll post up on that later after I get the install complete on the 11+ SD card based unit based n our Escalade.
