Hey guys I was just curious what kinda dyno numbers everyone got along with your list of modifications. I'm curious to see if my Yukon is on the low end or if it's right where it should be.

Mine is 09 Yukon 110k
5.3
6l80e trans
3.42 gears
4x4
Stock 20" rims and tire size

S&B intake
Ceramic Gibson Shortys
Magnaflow Muffler 12589? The popular one.
Slp resonator delete.
Keep stocking piping as its already 2.75in

Dynoed at 268hp and 291tq

3rd or 4th. I think they initially did 4th but it got up to 145mph on the dyno so they did the next pull in 3rd. I'll find the actual print out maybe that will tell me a definite answer.

I have a stage 2 Texas speed high lift cam , dod delete , ls6 springs , ls7 lifters , ls2 timing chain and sprockets . While getting the cam replaced , my mechanics noticed my cam bearings were worn so had the whole motor pulled , all new bearings , pistons and rings and balanced . Made 271 hp and 284 lb/ft . The pull was made with stock 20” rims and in 4th gear on a mustang dyno

I "dynoed" mine the old school way, took the truck to the drag strip.

It's original with a high capacity paper air filter, BlackBear tune and a Magnaflow Y-Pipe with new cats. That's it. Race Weight was 6,400 pounds. Was burning E85 @ 72% alcohol content (BB tune doesn't alter alcohol tables). Made two runs the last time out, best was 16.45 @ 85.34 MPH. This equates to 307.52 Rear Wheel Horsepower through the traps.

RWHP = Race Weight * ((Trap Speed * 0.00426)^3)

Same setup the year before with original cats that were fussing, 302 RWHP. Alcohol was 52%, had a K&N stock filter, and air temps were the same.

Was always curious about the disparity between dynos and real world pulls and as such, don't know how to compare mine to yours.

Maple Grove or Airport?

I think mine would be a little faster if it were not for the KO2s, they stick to the track like fly paper.

I will take mine to the track eventually and see what it does . I do have a 1/4 mike gauge on my head unit . Maybe see what that says

This was with a shift kit jr and FTI 2800/3000 billet stall converter nothing else. Done in 3rd I believe.

shift kit no, converter will effect #s ... simply locked or unlocked, but also as you get into the STR of each converter and how much slip it will allow unlocked, depending on application may only be 2-300 at redline some may be 2 or 3 times as much

locking up a converter under wide open throttle is ******* the torque converter and the transmission but will yield the highest numbers as the entire driveline will be connected much like a manual transmission.

Ohh man that doesn't make me feel good about my up coming build. I was really hoping to break 300whp. The only 2 things i have different that can help hp is ill have upgraded trunions and PRC CNC ported 243 heads.

I just had mine dyno'd monday.. Due to adding the Edelbrock E Force supercharger
to my 6.2 denali -+ 2014
I put on Kooks Headers and Y pipe with cats too...
I only got 352 hp & 380 Tq.. By the speed #'s looks like they did 3rd gear
I'm going to take it back for a "touch up" next month with better fuel, so maybe
that will change.. But I'm kinda disappointed with the #'s so far...
Just got the front fascia, wheel wells, etc etc all put back together today so haven't
really driven it yet.
I talked to Edelbrock, they said they would normally see 450 HP from the 6.2
with their charger.. Mine was on a stingy mustang dyno so I'd figured around
400 hp...

I would've thought at least 400 also. I wonder if they got everything out of the tune that they could've.

350 at the wheels seems on the low end, but many factors as mentioned to consider, especially when you consider the fuel.

Just an example, i playing at the 600 mark at the wheels on an AWD dyno, 6.2, 6L80, headers and cam on 93 octane w a TVS2300.

Just curious, do AWD dynos actually measure at both rear and front rollers, or does one set just free roll?
