Your truck looks great with the new wheels. It really makes a big difference. :driver: If you have access to a tech2 or other programmer you can correct the speedo if the tire size is different than the originals. I put 2015 Silverado take offs on mine a few years ago along with some factory lug nuts that I found on eBay.

I never could get my speedo to read correctly. I have access to a tech2 and I tried reprogramming tire size to 285/75r16 (closest to a 33" tire that I saw) and its still way off. How did you do it?

Picked the wheels up this morning. Installed and gave her a nice cleaning since it's a nice 50 degree winter day. Really happy with the result after the upgrades last few months. I need to get sensors and new nuts still ;) then I'm on to new headlights. Maybe level/small lift as well. Open for suggestions :)

Looks great! More and more people seem to be putting these wheels on the NBS trucks. I just took the black plastic caps and put them on mine. I like the black lug nuts personally.

I need to get sensors for mine also. Bought a cheap set off amazon and only one worked. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for in that case.

We got our yearly snow here in ENC the other day so I had to take a picture.

Ok so I did a brake flush at work on my Yukon the other day. I put new rotors and pads on maybe 3-400 miles ago. The brake pedal is still mushy. Been like that for years. I figured the flush would fix it for sure. The flush basically sucks all the old fluid out of the reservoir. Pressurizes it with new. And you go to each caliper and sucks the remaking old out till you see new fluid. It helped some but not enough. My avy is night and day difference and both have hydroboost. Any ideas? Recent pic of the avy when I met up with a few buddies from another forum for lunch

After a bleed you need to hook up a scanner and do an automated bleed. It allows trapped air inside the abs assembly to purge right out the bleeder screws

The best way I found was to compare the tires “revolutions per mile” rating on the manufacturer’s website. My tires are Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain LT265/70R18. I then found a tire size in the Tech2 that was close to the same revs per mile.

Wow. Those look nice. How did you "repair" them?

I removed the old rubbery paint with denatured alcohol, sand them down with 400 grit sandpaper, spray the SEM primer then the Dark Shadow gray (2009 Ford F150 Dark Shadow Gray Color CX) from automotive touch up (1 can). I also sprayed a light coat of flat clear coat on them.

Any chance your rear gear ratio is programmed incorrectly or a previous owner swapped gears or the entire rear ends with one that had a different gear in it?

No chance. No rear end work other than a pinion seal and fluid has ever been done.

Can anyone confirm if the Esky 3rd brake lights won't fit on the Tahoe glass at all or if it fits fine but just won't line up with the mounting holes? I plan on using 3m adhesive tape if it will fit on the glass. I searched on it, but the comments were a little unclear about using the Tahoe's glass, or if it was a must to swap the glass lift with Esky's along with the brake light.

I don’t believe there’s any need to swap glass. AFAIK just the brake light should be good. Unfortunately I’m not speaking from experience but just observations on the site.

You have to swap the glass for the mounting holes to line up. I have one on my 06.
