Wow. Those look nice. How did you "repair" them?

I removed the old rubbery paint with denatured alcohol, sand them down with 400 grit sandpaper, spray the SEM primer then the Dark Shadow gray (2009 Ford F150 Dark Shadow Gray Color CX) from automotive touch up (1 can). I also sprayed a light coat of flat clear coat on them.

I never could get my speedo to read correctly. I have access to a tech2 and I tried reprogramming tire size to 285/75r16 (closest to a 33" tire that I saw) and its still way off. How did you do it?

Any chance your rear gear ratio is programmed incorrectly or a previous owner swapped gears or the entire rear ends with one that had a different gear in it?

No chance. No rear end work other than a pinion seal and fluid has ever been done.

Can anyone confirm if the Esky 3rd brake lights won't fit on the Tahoe glass at all or if it fits fine but just won't line up with the mounting holes? I plan on using 3m adhesive tape if it will fit on the glass. I searched on it, but the comments were a little unclear about using the Tahoe's glass, or if it was a must to swap the glass lift with Esky's along with the brake light.

I don’t believe there’s any need to swap glass. AFAIK just the brake light should be good. Unfortunately I’m not speaking from experience but just observations on the site.

You have to swap the glass for the mounting holes to line up. I have one on my 06.
