Hope everybody had a good Christmas! Tahoe did fabulous with the light dusting of snow that we got on the road trip to Bend and back. Lowest temp we saw was 25 on the pass. The worst part was driving at twilight at around 5, with the wet roads and that weird in between time makes it so that its hard to see shit because your eyes are still adjusted to daylight, and the dark color of the moisture on the road absorbs the light from the bulbs. I think its time to look into a baja style light mount and some round off road lights.

It’s ok, that’s why I put Wilwoods on. I can stop my monster faster than a small car can. It scared him so bad when they flashed on that he swerved all over, thought a UFO was on him. I mean, I was doing 75 and he was doing 60 and he whipped into my lane because he couldn’t possibly merge with the car entering the freeway so he got what he deserved. I hate idiot drivers.

Any special bulbs for the reverse lights? I need to light things up back there.

I don’t remember exactly what I put back there, some Cree led with the most lumens I could find. They don’t help that much, but my camera does when combined with them.

All I did was flash my brights at an idiot who made a mistake. There was no road rage, that’s what happens if you escalate it, or LET it escalate. I would have avoided that.

I have the Peak LED reverse bulbs in the stock housings and they are nice and bright. Backup camera sees just fine at night and I can easily see through 20% tint in the mirrors

Or not even road rage, what if flashing your aftermarket brights that light up an airport runway and made the driver think there was a UFO behind him and shit his pants and swerve all over and into oncoming trafic and hit head on a car with a family killing the parents and leaving the kids orphaned and paraplegic?

How much does that cost to do for high beams? I’m happy with the low beams + fogs 90% of the time, its just at dusk that its an issue. Do I need to do a projector setup?

hit the menu button to adjust the brightness and contrast correct optional settings work great as you can see with stock HIGH POWERED bulbs 4157(14.2v bulbs)
