I agree, I see more older Silverados on the road than F150"s. I've owned multiple GM trucks and not one has left me strand it in over 25 years.

everywhere I go I see a ton of gm's and misc other makes but not all that many fords, kinda weird considering they sell more, I know they number practically 10:1 at the local junk yard that say's a lot to me. maybe it's a regional thing I don't know.I agree, I see more older Silverados on the road than F150"s. Cause they’re a “low cost” brand. You probably live in a nicer neighborhood, lol.

He told me that Ford can brag about selling more pickup trucks than Chevy or Dodge because they do have the biggest grasp of the commercial truck market. By the way, he owns a Silverado DMAX.
Really? F150 and Silverado have an identical base price...

Common man, everyone knows Ford is so pedestrian compared to GM.

I literally have no idea what that means lol
I think he meant C'mon man! instead of common man.
The pedestrian part means more plain Jane and less options and less forward thinking, I believe.
Not just SUV’s. My 2016 F150 XLT SCREW has a center speaker. That F150 has a center speaker? I thought only SUV had that.

Exactly. Corrected the autocorrect. But he knows what I meant, literally.

I understood your words but I had no idea that ford trucks were considered plane Jane etc.
You know it’s interesting, I didn’t either until I started shopping for Yukon/Suburbans and was asking people who owned these and Expeditions. In general, the average person looked down on Ford and held GM in higher regard. Even Ford owners seem to have a chip on their shoulder; they all complain about resale of their Fords/Expeditions...”if only it had a GM name on it, it would be worth $10k more...” must have heard this a dozen times.

Anyone know if these new ones have a dipped coated frame or have they made the switch ?
