The Nav disc doesn’t work. The passenger rear door inside lock is tired. And there’s a chip in the windshield. Everything else points to a very meticulously maintained and cared for car.
So....what’s it worth? I have No f’ing idea until I get some offers, but first I have to advertise it! Portland Metro is my biggest city and everyone here loves their Tesla’s and BMWs. My neighbors hate me and my fleet of GM. I simply don’t have any interest in dealing with dealerships that have no idea what they’re talking about.
Ok. Sorry...been slammed here in Oregon with remodeling a bathroom and work. Southern Oregon by the Ocean. But Not salty. Good weather until today when the rain came.
The Super rare and super awesome 2wd Tahoe is in Oregon. I moved here last August, and it isn’t salty. It’s wet though. Pine needles are my biggest bugaboo.
The Tahoe spent its life in SoCal until last year, and it’s still garaged to this day.
The story and love affair with this truck is that it was custom built for someone at GM (name available later) I bought it on a whim over the phone while I was on vacation from a dealer who had delivered him another special build. I wanted a 6.2 like my Camaro without the dang AFM. And whoa...do I love it. But my wife...she’s not a fast driver and when I’m in this thing, damn. Camaro in a truck body. She doesn’t appreciate it and I have a company Ford...with lights and sirens on it...so I drive that everywhere. It’s a 5.0, so that’s cool I guess.
The only upgrades it doesn’t have were the auto steps and blind spot detection. It’s very much a driven car, but I think it’s time to move on.
I was thinking of keeping it and selling it at Barrett Jackson in 52 years because I’m sure it will be worth millions...of pesos?

Oh...wife wants a Subaru.
A Subaru.

You're quite a peculiar fellow.
Tried looking up the online NADA value? I know NADA is generally irrelevant to actual current local market values and is often used by dealers to slaughter people on trade-in, but it's something. If nothing else, the 6.2 option seemed to add about $900 (surprisingly) to the 5.3 Tahoe value, all else being equal. So, whatever clean/low-mile 2WD 5.3 Tahoes are selling for in your area plus a grand or so might be a start?
Ok. So 20k.
You want the carpet mats too?
Clean retail on mine is 18k, and I am around 155k. I was shocked it's that high still. $1400 in options including the 6.2. Only option I don't have is power running boards, it has everything else.
I was kidding with the $20k bite. I would like to get $17.5k for it. Yes, there are plenty here with 100k miles and at that price point, but they are 4x4. 6.2 or 5.3 with AFM and 4x4. I think it’s a no brainer.Right? I was pleasantly surprised to find my '08 2WD 5.3 with 200K miles still at $10K. I swear it went up a little unless I looked up a different guide a while back.

Just one of those is RWD, but it's got the wrong radio in it which raises flags. I hope some of our members scoop some of these up, most of them look really nice. Once you get it tuned, it's a blast to drive and they are kind of a sleeper.
None of them come up for me.
Educate me about the radio Mike. Folks in the know are aware of what's powering a Denali but these are true sleepers! The only give away is the tailpipe and even those in the know are not likely to know!
