The upper piece attached to the hood is easy to remove and install. Painting in place is likely to be a challenge as you might end up with tape lines or paint runs. I typically buy replacement parts and get them color matched. This way all I have to do is remove and replace all at the same time. In the case of the grill and the degree of effort, it made the best sense.

Were you thinking about color matching the part of the grill between the Al finished frames as well? Good luck and have fun with the mod effort(s).

Thank you and yes I was thinking of painting the inner part of the grill. My truck is black so color matching it is. I would have loved to buy a separate grill but the funds are low so I have to work with what I have.

I see. That should make the color match effort a bit easier. I totally understand the funds part. It's never easy my friend. It's always a matter of either funds, time, or both.

Too bad your not this way I could have helped you out with the effort, spare grill, or both. I am beginning to grow quite the collection of spare parts in both my garage and up in the attic. LOL.

Lol, I wish I was closer also. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay for the grill?

Sorry another long day. No sir don't mind the question. Grill was right around 700.00. I bought the grille, upper piece that attaches to the hood, the lower grill piece, the two pieces under the parking lenses and the rear hatch badge.

I am on a first name basis with the guys in the parts department now. LOL...

No I don't but I'll give the guys at the dealer a call and find out. I'm assuming you're asking because its color matched and ready to go?

Thanks.

Better half said I gotta use up the stock michelins before upgrading wheels, so I slapped on some wheel skins and black caps. Not bad for a hundy...

Much better than a dip as the gloss black matches RST grill. Wrapping trim and adding some nerfs next...

I've got those on my Jeep GC. They rattle like crazy. Do yours do the same or do they fit tight?
