Oil, filter, drain/fill the trans pan. Through the dipstick because I don't disconnect the cooler lines and cross my fingers nothing is run dry and ***** up like a hack

Ended up having to use a bottle of 5w20 because the store was out of 5w30. And Napa was being a bastard with my usual 0w30 saying it wasn't in sale when it really was. Bleh. I defo prefer the 0w30. This stuff has 5psi greater pressure when cold and about 3psi lower when hot, though the hot is a bit difficult to judge because it has a quart of 20 weight in the mix that could be thinning it down. Not sweating it too much for the summer but I'm definitely going to swap back over for the winter.

Also had an errant service 4wd message for maybe 15 seconds. Went as fast as it came, ran through and verified all my various 4wd settings operate. Selector switch was lit in 2wd as selected but would not switch to either auto or 4x4 while the message was displayed.

Scanned for stored codes and found none so like.... Who knows?

Curious with this oil. Seems to have a higher NOACK or possibly greater oxidation (I think? Chemists feel free to chime in) than the mobil 1 I was using previous, which didn't change through the OCI. Hot oil pressure since the change has gone up from 43 to 48 after 2500mi on it. Shame Castrol doesn't publish that info. Guess that means my rings are good - little thickening means no fuel dilution.

I had a long time chip right in the middle, and it cracked like a big star a couple of days ago. I have no-deductible glass insurance so there's no time like the present to git 'er done! My insurance guy gave me a couple of places that use OEM glass, so it's all good. IIRC, before they knew it was an insurance job they quoted be under $300 cash price, installed. Not bad even at that price.

I'll have them do it their shop, since I feel like that's a more controlled environment than mobile service.

I keep looking for a write up for the Tru-Cool mod or at least a parts list on what is needed to do it. I want the transmission cooler and mount, I can modify the lines myself. I seen the youtube video for it and my transmission is in need of an overhaul due to mileage. Any help would be great, thanks!
