My trims are all over the place at idle and during acceleration and stopping/slowing down. They nearly always go to zero once a steady speed is attained and maintained for a few minutes at least. And right after refueling it's not uncommon for them to shoot up to -25% but the CEL does not alight as it is figuring out the new alcohol content. Different fuels, different fluctuations in the trims.

the evap system can mess with the fuel trims too, aka filling it up or as it gets lower in level. it works off vacuum.

It ran great today. I didn't have the scanner on it tho. I still wish I understood all this short term and long term fuel trim stuff. I haven't had time to read up on it tho. Got a new job that's kicking my ass, while still trying to keep my business alive=No time for anything.
Congrats on the new job. You’ll have it down like nothing shortly. [emoji106][emoji631]

Hey Tony, I have a question about the Escalade display you installed with the transmission temp gauge. Is there a temp sensor already wired into the instrument panel harness? Also my 00' has air core motors for its gauges. Will this be a problem if the Escalade display is likely to use stepper motors instead?

You can only use a 99-02 cluster in a 99-02. So only an 02 escalade cluster will work
