All two! of my runs sucked
13.2 against a charger/chally they did a 12.1.
2nd tried to launch, spun all, 13.3...corvette red lit (think I scared him) and sat at the line they made him drive it thru was like a 20 sec pass

Yeah, that Vette wanted to back up and do it again and they told him no way and made him leave!
I got the jump on a 5.7 Hemi pickup but he caught me at the 1000' and then passed on by. Need more power!

I'll have to see what my wife and kids have on their phones. They did say that they were unable to get the scoreboards in the videos for some reason.
My first run was 16.477 @ 85.20 MPH with a 2.543 60'. Launched at 1500 rpms with 4WD engaged but forget to turn off TC. Don't think it mattered. I had the Tech-2 on and think this run was recorded. I'll look at it in a little bit.
Second run against the Hemi was 16.448 @ 85.34 MPH with a 2.507 60'. Launched at about 1750 with 4WD engaged and forgot to turn off TC again. After this run, they prepped the track again and all the guys were getting stuck to it.
Temperature was the same as last year, 82 degrees, truck weighed 100 pounds more. The only differences between this time and last were the new Magnaflow cats and Y-pipe and I pulled the stock K&N for a stock Hi-Capacity ACDelco paper air filter that has not been touched since last March. Tires were at 50 psi instead of 42 psi. I brought the K&N to do comparisons but with all the cars breaking down and sheer volume of attendees, we were limited to three potential runs. Oh, last time the alcohol content was 52%, this time 73%. Could that have made a difference?
I'm not any faster than stock it seems. Some show 2013 4WD Suburban doing 15.7 @ 83 mph and 2WD Suburban doing 16.5 @ 83 mph. Motor Trend did 16.3 @ 85.7 in a stock 2007 GMC Yukon XL; faster than me.
With the new cats, presumably, the motor has picked up about 5 rear wheel horsepower over last year, 302 versus 307.5.

The first run yea...he was a second faster but reaction time and 60' I ate his shit up...he had less than 2 cars on me at the other end

We should get another meetup planned. Would love to meet everyone! My buddy and I are going to Zephyrhills this Friday to check out an RV with 40K miles. It has a Vortec 454 and 4L80e HD trans. Going to drop that in the Hoe, and swap over an 0411 PCM!

No it’s a 7.4. The 8.1 is an LS motor. It’s the same 7.4 that came in the 2500/3500 trucks/suburban between 1996-2000. The 0411 PCM swap is just like doing it to a Vortec 350, but making sure the parameters run on the 0411 like they do for the 8.1 (from my understanding). It allows for faster processing, which equals smoother running engine, more power, and opens the door for far more tunability. This 7.4 out of the RV is slightly different, since it will have an RV cam (not like your RV performance cams), and slightly different tuning. Should have more torque than your typical 7.4 and allow for more MPG.

Hey me too! I’m really excited to get this thing moving along, finally! Eventually will have it stroked to a 496 and be around 600HP/600TQ, maybe throw a supercharger on it if I’m feeling greedy lol

I’ll take pictures of the inside and you’ll see why haha. This crackhead used to live inside, and tore it apart. Interior is trashed. Motor and trans are still pristine. Between the usable parts and steel, there’s over $2000 worth of stuff, but I don’t want to deal with parting it out and selling, so let my mechanic buy it.
