When you gonna 86 the side mouldings?
Can't. Someone painted around them, so there's a ridge-- plus people have no consideration and bang the hell out of your doors when they're parked next to you. They were a little faded, and I hated that plastic silver strip on the lower edge of it, so I dipped it. So much better.

I know how that goes, my 05 Tahoe had a dent under one of them when I removed them

Changed out from the KYB Excel-G's.View attachment 213030
I took a ride around the block and it felt so much better. We'll see how it takes dips and bumps. I posted them in the classifieds. Whoever wants them can have them. I also posted a video of them there. Make sure to read the ad to whom ever wants them. I also finally fixed my passenger side fog light's loose wire connection---Hopefully. No pics on that.

EDIT: I also rotated tires, front to back, stayed on the same side tho. Had to since I got a little froggy and burned the rear up a lil:driver:.

Nice change out. You did put a fresh coat on those rotors and calipers, right???

Yes paint. Just busting chops, coz I prolly know what your answer is going to be....lol
Nah. My ride, unfortuneately, is always dirty, bordering on neglect, alot of times. Maybe the coming summer I can freshen a few things up. I was actually pressed for time this weekend. I just noticed a little rust bubble on the passenger side lower rocker, and a rub spot with surface rust on the driver side rocker from the running board. I still need to do the driver side motor mount too. Geez--is anything ever done?

All good buddy:D. We all love to bust a few chops.
Now now don’t paint an unfair picture. It is no secret to anybody, even my family that I am a detail fruit loop.

Wearing that badge proudly for a long time. Good sometimes and a challenge at others. Lol
I wish I had your detailing skills.:buffer:.

Man I wish I could find me some Escalade appliques for mine! Our color seems so rare!. Also didn't know you had a 4WD?!?!?!
Gotta search the yards and cl, you'll def find a set. I have 4wd, but had to take the front prop shaft out. It hits the exhaust and headers.

So you can't have a 4WD with aftermarket headers unless they are custom made?

No. Just the set I have. Supposedly they're a direct bolt on, so 4wd was supposed to still work. I know if I take it to someone else they'd be able to mod the exhaust and get it to work, but no funds for that right now--unfortuneately.

Being lowered probably doesn't help the issue though, right?
