Looks really good. How is it on the highway? A little noisey with the tires?

What's a NorCal mod? Does it have something to do with the EPA laws there?

Did you use extenders for the wheels?

I think it looks great.
The Cali is ok, not soo extreme where it looks ridiculous, at least not like some of the NC squat guys around me. I should've taken a picture of this truck earlier. Not only was his rear tire about an inch off his fender and his front had at best a 6" lift, it sounded awful haha.

NorCal mod = https://norcaltruck.com/2007-5-2013-chevy-gm-large-fender-mod
Its a method to clearance your fenders for larger/wider wheels/tires.

Not a bad look. Let's see some output/nighttime shots with those LED fog lights pods.

I’ll see if I can grab some. Only problem is that cameras tend to mess with how they really look. I absolutely love them tho.

Check out what some of the other guys said about the NorCal mod. It doesn’t fix everything but definitely helps. I still rub but nowhere near as bad. I’m prob going to do a 3/2 lift and have no problems any more. Just need a bit more height.

Also, not running any wheel spacers. The wheels are -44 offset so they stance out.

So I’m thinking of going with the RC 7.5” lift since it’s the same price as the 5.5” kit. Any recommendations on wheel tire combo as well as size recommendations? I’m running 285s on my stock 18s for my 07 Z71 Burb. Any knowledge on the RC lift kits ie recs vs issues?

I don’t have to much knowledge on them. I’d go with one of their 5.5” kits but they can confirm if it’ll work with my truck or not. I have a LTZ with Auto ride but it’s been deleted. So in theory it should work but they beat around the bush.

You may want to check out some of the reviews on that kit before you buy. I've seen a lot of negative reviews. Seems that it may be cheaper for a reason. Check out GMfullsize.com they have a forum for lifted trucks and have a stickied review of several different types of lifts. Here is a link direct to the thread.... https://www.gmfullsize.com/threads/nnbs-1500-07-13-lift-kit-guide-read-before-posting.285328/

Looks good!

Just make sure your gonna like the balance between lift and tire size. I went 8" and ended up moving to 37s cause 35s looked almost funny small!

What runners are you looking to get? Thought about just 4 of the 8" steps... you should see my girlfriend try and crawl in20190129_164520.jpg
