hey all!

New to the Tahoe world but not gm vehicles. Just picked up a 2010 SSV ex border patrol Tahoe to replace my 07 2500HD Sierra.

Ended up driving it home without any issues from Chicago to Denver. Still need to fix a few things here and there and have some mods on the way. It’s got full skid plates, used to have a cage and light bar. Here are a few pics. E53C7E7C-DA55-4864-AC06-868E72D3FCF9.jpeg

Welcome from Miami Beach Joel!! Looks to be in excellent shape!

I generally hear good things about Chicago Motors. In the past had some friends buy used Ford Police Interceptors from them and it worked out well. Now they are buying their SSV and PPV Tahoe's.

I will say, they are incredibly good at taking pictures. I literally stood in their lots looking at the vehicles while looking at them online and could not spot damage that I saw in real life. I went thru quite a few Tahoe’s that they had and found this gem which is in great condition considering. Minimal wear inside, just a few small scratches and dents outside and drove great. They were good to deal with and pretty honest. They’re churning vehicles out by swapping or quickly repairing what they can so nothing major.

Overall my gamble of flying in on a Wednesday morning and driving 1000+ miles home within a few days worked out well and I got a new family vehicle that I think will be in the family for a while.

Tried getting my rear speakers to work today and gave up. Fixed the aux with some soldering.

Also did some suspension work. 2” belltech spindles and 3” drop springs in back. Still need to do the free travel mod.
