man, i swear i have mocked up 50 different wheels in photoshop. and the one's that look the best to me are the common Boss 330 / U2-55 wheels everyone runs. Everything else just looked cheap or too flashy or too much chrome. I would love to have a set of Billet Wheels made but thats $750 a piece each wheel. I can't justify paying $3000 for wheels on a vehicle i paid $4000 for haha

i just want to go for a dang ride in the rocket! that thing must be a blast.

If it's anything like this one, it has to be insane!

How much boost are you running ??

Finally picked up a new project. The Denali's first time trailering a car worked great considering her ride height. Picked this Rivi up in Cali on Sunday. This project is going to take up at least a couple years i would assume. I have been wanting to build a 65 Riviera for a long time so it should be fun.

I’ve always loved the front on these, super evil genius/mad scientist. Now oif I could only find a boat tail version like that. Can’t wait to see what you do, your work is always top notch and a pleasure to look at.

yup, thats the same way i feel about it. wicked/evil front end. i can stare at these angles and curves for days

I like the rear too, and i hear ya about the boat tail, they were almost like a stingray rear window. i think a few people have actually mated the later bodystyle Riviera boat-tail to the 63-65 body before. Mighta been 2014 Ridler award winner. anyways. yeah, love the Rivi lines

i have to admit, i miss when i was building the Denali and getting car parts delivered every week was half the fun.
so it's nice to be knee deep in a new build.

But, just to stay on subject because this is a Denali thread. Here's a random shot of the Yukon.

Need a fresh pair of pants asap! Also looked it up and it was the 2014 winner that bright yellow is not to my liking but what a sick ride that guy built. Paint it flat or satin black like yours and we’d be in business.

It may be a Denali build, but you know a bunch of us love your Riv, so you GOTTA do a Riv build thread. Maybe put some shots in here. I love the hideaways. Have any interior shots?

the interior is rough.
missing so many parts.
been working on it almost everyday (in between beers, of course) and hunting down parts from junkyards which are super expensive.

this was the interior about a week ago

Are the panels that go across the tops of the doors wood veneer? Some of the center console missing?

yup. exactly. old wood veneer.
and yes, missing console, AC, radio and Glove box areas.

I will do something different than that stock wood look.
but, this is what the stock interior would look like put together

I really like the interior. Center console reminds me of a T Bird. No cheap plastic shit there.

I might be lol

Probably going to end up with a Spruce Mica like color...oem medium green metallic, moss green flake, and gold Ice pearl. Should be interesting.
