Where did you get those heim tie-rods? Is the stud that goes through the spindle tapered? I’ve been looking for heim tie rods and all the ones I’ve come across use a grade 8 bolt that goes through the spindle hole

The stud is tapered so no need to drill out your spindle. I got it from FFR Fabrication..bought them originally thru GM Fullsize..http://www.gmfullsize.com/threads/ffr-fabrication-heim-steering-kits.213823/

I called them about replacement heims and they sent me to Ruff Stuff www.ruffstuffspecialties.com who makes the heims for their kit.

The rods have flat spots for a crescent wrench to do adjustments, but I had a stupid shop lock some vice grips on them and scratch them up...never use them again.

If only I could remember where I got the boots..

Ended up taking the door check out and replacing the rivet with a bolt to stop the clanking noise. Seems to be getting the job done.

You have to bend this clip on one side to get the pocket to fully seat, it’s a nice snug fit once you pop it and and the console goes against it you will have no movement

Bought these factory 22” Escalade rims & tires last night, the rims are pretty clean no curb rash, looks like whoever had these rims used a drive through car wash often cause the chrome part of the rims have very tiny fine scratches, I’m gonna throw some new rubber on in the next few weeks and throw them on, I’m thinking next winter I’ll pull the tires and get the rims painted black

Thanks, the only reason why I might is the paint isn’t perfect on them due to whoever had them running through a drive through car wash or maybe they used a brush to rough to clean them idk but from a few feet away they look great, like in those pics they look mint

I finally scored a clean set of color matched Denali door handles. Looks so much better going to wrap the chrome on the rack & boards along with tinting the tails & 3rd brake light

Did you end up getting them from that dude I sent you?
